A Saiyan genetic trait that allows their combat prowess to continually increase after recovering from a near death experience. This is done by the Saiyan instinctively imprinting on new experiences to lessen the chances of same injury happening again and likewise dramatically increasing their raw might after recovering from injuries. Saiyans are not capable of infinitely gaining zenkais however, and the more zenkais the Saiyan gets the lesser the effect, each time to the point that they eventually do not get a power up from being injured anymore.

xxxxx※Rook was born on the planet Daikon his Mother having escaped the purge of the Saiyans at the hands of a Frost Demon named Bizzardin her past. In order to blend in with the local population she had removed her own tail, and did the same with Rook so as not to draw the attention of those who sought their destruction. The planet itself was a Martial Society where having a fighting style pass down through the generations the longest was seen as the proof of supremacy. It was the perfect upbringing for Rook who took to the ways of the sword quickly at a young age, and made it his goal to fight as many of the styles of his world as possible as he grew in both age, and ability. Eventually though as the scope of the Universe opened itself to him Daikon was not enough of proving ground why be the best on one planet when you could be the best of them all. With that goal now burning brightly in his heart he took to the stars to explore new planets, and fight strange styles all for the sake of growing stronger. The most recent planet and by far his most favorite in terms of martial arts is Earth where he plans on spending quite some time upon to learn what it's fighters has to offer.
