Personality: A bossy tomboy, childish yet kind-hearted. Upfront with her feelings and not afraid to take a step forward.
History: Misty grew up in a remote mermaid village along with her little sister, May. Raised by their loving mother, they spent their days happily. nothing out of the ordinary, that is until one day, Misty's curiosity peaked as she sneaks out of the village in order to see for herself what lies beyond. There she discovers a sunken ship, bits and pieces of wood scattered but the majority of its body is still intact. Her eyes lightened as she scour the area, discovering all matter of trinkets from a world beyond theirs. Her curiosity soon turning into wanderlust, as she told her sister of her plans and dreams, much to May's surprise. She thus started preparing for their journey, either by using her sister as a sparring partner or picking fights with all manner of sea creatures.
Weakness: Her lack of fear can also be her undoing because it also means a lack of self preservation.
Strength: Misty has a good grasp of actual combat thanks to the experience she had from her childhood.

Personality: May is the timid one of the twins. Observant and wary, she appears respectful to anyone and would always interact with a smile. That is at least how she lets other people see her as. In actuality, she can be very mean spirited, especially to those who she doesn't like. Her sister is probably the only one that can see through her facade, which is why she doesn't even bother when it's only the two of them.
History: May grew up in a remote mermaid village along with her older sister, Misty. Raised by their loving mother, they spent their days happily. nothing out of the ordinary. May loves spending her time studying, conducting research as well as exploring her capacity for magic after finding out their mother could use magic. She made a huge breakthrough when one day, her sister dragged her to see a sunken ship she's found, among the things scattered around were tomes on magical theory, although worn out, she could still salvage what was left and restore it. Upon hearing of Misty's plans in the future, she decided to travel with her for both Misty's safety and her own personal interests. Although she didn't quite expect herself to become a sparring partner for her blockhead of a sister.
Weakness: Her inability to fully trust anyone but her sister also means she will always be wary, unable to let her guard down.
Strength: May's magic is still incomplete, While her current magical capacity only allows her to conjure up something simple like creating water. She can override and/or interfere with other's powers.
