- ■ Being apart of the Hufflepuff house sure has its perks when it comes to herbology. Since the common room is packed with various flowers and plants, it gave Lucas the ideal environment to study in for the exam. Plus, many of his housemates are into plants and were very willing to help him prepare.

- ■ Lucas found that performing spells without his wand was actually easier, for the most part, since his wand is difficult to tame.

- ■ Lucas grew up with a lot of interest in wizard law as his mother had worked in the International Magical Office of Law for the Ministry of Magic for the majority of his life. He found that he could bond with his mum over the holidays as they would discuss the topics that he was taught in the course. Instead of studying for the sole purpose of doing well in the course, he mainly wanted to be able to have those deep discussions with her.
