It's been a while!?

How y'all doin'? Keeping safe, I hope!
I've been doing my part and wearing a mask whenever I go out.
In this blistering heat wave we've been having, it's pretty sweaty,
but I'ma still do it because IT'S THE LITERAL LEAST I CAN DO
ugh

Is it bad that I kinda enjoyed being in quarantine??
It meant I didn't have to go to my shitty job and deal with shitty customers.
I could go to bed when tired and wake up sated (rather than to an alarm)
I could take my time with my meals rather than having to hork them down.
I finally got into Wii Fit and me and my guy have been keeping up with it e'rryday.
I got SO MUCH cleaning done, like holy damn.
*sigh*

tl;dr, Chuck hates her job and WEAR A ******** MASK

We've been pretty busy and getting a little squirrely. Nice to see you, Chuck.



Life updates:

- House is coming together. Still waiting for our bedroom set, a piece for our stools, rough grade, deck, and landscaping because COVID hit and slowed everything down.

- I got put on "temporary lay-off" due to budget cuts during a pandemic and school boards needing to fit the bill somehow. I'm currently unemployed. Woo.

- I got my car and my independence.

- Husband turned 30. We've both hit the wonderful "second puberty" where everything hurts and we get fat. We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary.

- Still a mod after 8 years.

- I've been spending a lot of time out at the in-laws' farm. Butchered chickens, planted the garden, and it looks like there's going to be lots of fruit to harvest in the fall.

Are you able to apply for EI? If you can, you definitely should.
It's what I did during quarantine, and the horrible irony is that I made more on it than my actual job... ha ha... sweatdrop

I can apply for EI, yeah. We're not hurting for cash currently, but we might if I can't go back to work in September.
