Aspen Hill - NEWT Exams {9/9} Complete! Graded!

Aspen loves Astronomy, though she mostly likes to focus on the moon and planets. Stars and constellations tend to trip her up, which is what lost her a few points on the exam.

xxxxx⇾Charms ~ {O}
Charms turned out to be Aspen's favorite magic-based class, with her excelling at the required moves and spells. She easily scored perfect marks in the class.

xxxxx⇾Defence Against the Dark Arts ~ {EE}
Defense, despite being incredibly vital, was surprisingly tricky. It didn't help that Aspen nearly fainted at the giant spider of a boggart.... but she did manage a pretty good grade overall.

xxxxx⇾Herbology ~ {O}
Between being a half-nymph and the daughter of the Herbology professor, Aspen passed this exam with flying colors and beyond.

xxxxx⇾History of Magic ~ {A}
Aspen liked History, but discovered herself quite bad at remembering dates, names, events, and such, particularly in order. She did her best on the exam and managed to pass, but only barely.

xxxxx⇾Potions ~ {O}
Potions was another class Aspen excelled at, partially thanks to her skill in Herbology, partly thanks to her relationship with the teacher. Altogether she net a perfect potion... and a perfect grade.

xxxxx⇾Transfiguration ~ {EE}
Transfiguration was tricky, and though Aspen usually enjoys the challenge, she didn't much care for transfig. Try as she might, she couldn't get perfect marks. She did get close enough, though, and that was good enough for her.

xxxxx⇾Care of Magical Creatures ~ {O}
CoMC ended up being a super fun class, one which Aspen proudly boasted her skill. She enjoyed meeting all the new creatures, and got to have a laugh at the bowtruckle questions since she'd been raising one for years. Either way, she scored a flawless grade with a smile.

xxxxx⇾Cursebreaking ~ {A}
Cursebreaking sounded fun, but ended up as one of Aspen's least favorite classes. Despite her best effort, she never seemed very good at the topic, and it lost her points, regardless of her study hours.

xxxxx⇾Healing Class ~ {O}
Thanks to Aspen's surprisingly gentle self, she turned out to be skilled in Healing. She loves to figure magical healing versus natural, though she happily learned it all. When it came exam time, she was easily able to help the student, earning perfect marks.

xxxxx⇾Mythology ~ {EE}
Mythology had originally been taken just to even her numbers, but Aspen ended up quite enjoying the class. She studied hard and read extra, earning a pretty good grade.

xxxxx⇾Wandlore Studies ~ {O}
Wandlore was originally chosen because of Aspen's love/knowledge of trees and wand woods, but she ended up loving the study. It was fascinating to see how much wands reflected their holder. After practicing all she could, she ended up getting top marks on the exam.

NEWT Exams

Aspen continued to do well in Astronomy, though she let her studies in the class go backburner to some of the more difficult classes. Ultimately, she passed, though not with perfect marks.

xxxxx⇾Charms ~ {O}
Charms remained a fun class for Aspen, and one she did well in. With practice and a bit of skill, she managed a perfect score on her exam.

xxxxx⇾Defence Against the Dark Arts ~ {A}
Aspen worked hard on Defence, but the course material just kept getting more difficult. Despite trying her best, she did miss a few questions on the exam, resulting in a lower grade. Luckily she still passed, though.

xxxxx⇾Herbology ~ {O}
It's Aspen. C'mon.

xxxxx⇾Potions ~ {O}
Aspen studied hard, plus her skill in herbology and her ability to ask Ada for extra study time pretty much any night resulted in a flawless grade.

xxxxx⇾Transfiguration ~ {EE}
Aspen did her best in Transfig, with help from Hailey (who was assisting Drage directly), she managed a lot higher score than she expected.

Aspen loves all the magical creatures, so the class remained a favorite. She studied hard to make sure she could provide proper care to the animals, and passed with top marks.

xxxxx⇾Healing Class ~ {O}
Aspen worked hard in healing, studying to be the best she could be. It would always, always be beneficial to be able to help people.

xxxxx⇾Wandlore Studies ~ {EE}
Aspen did well at Wandlore, but as the material got harder, she fell a bit behind. Through diligent studying, she still managed a pretty good grade.
