Astronomy ~ A
--As much as Cas enjoys staying up past curfew, looking at a bunch of dead imploded planets and space dust wasn't how he wanted to spend it. He took in enough notes that he didn't completely bomb the exam.
Charms ~ EE
--Cas had a decent affinity for charms and with some practice and studying he managed to do well on the exam with minimal issues.
Defense Against the Dark Arts ~ EE
--Between his family history and his general 50/50 likeability, he figured it would do him good to know some defensive magic.
Herbology ~ EE
--With friends like the Hill sisters and of course his own budding curiosity it would’ve been harder for Cas to make anything lower. His written might’ve lowered his score some but he did well enough in the practical to pass.
History of Magic ~ P
--In studying for one of his harder (coffmoreimportantcoff) classes, he’d stayed up far later than he usually did and fell asleep during the exam. To be frank, he probably would have anyway since this stuff bored him to tears. He answered enough that he at least didn’t get a Troll.
Potions ~ O
--Since watching his mother for as long as he could remember, Cas had always had an interest and knowledge over potions. Studying and preparing for the exam was with minimal effort and his good grade showed it.
Transfiguration ~ EE
--Cas is surprisingly efficient at transfiguration when he’s paying attention to it. Studying and practicing helped and he was perhaps a bit too eager to vanish the cat towards the end having to rescue his poor toad from their evil clutches one too many times.
Alchemy ~ EE
--This class he took on a fluke but honestly greatly enjoyed. It involved two of his favorite subjects and while he wasn’t really turning things to gold, he enjoyed it enough to study and get a good grade.
Care of Magical Creatures ~ O
--Cas greatly enjoyed the class and the opportunity to be outside for an entire lesson and the professor not once tell him to shut up about amphibians. It was a no brainer to ace this exam.
Ghoul and Ghost ~ P
--Cas can’t even remember the difference, nor could he tell you why he signed up for it. Maybe it was the off chance he could summon one to haunt his siblings but knowing his luck, Rosamund would probably manage to get it to work for her and haunt him. He did his best but is that really saying anything?
Healing ~ A
--He’d taken it as a “you never know” type of course but it steadily became apparent he had no bedside manner whatsoever. He would’ve done better in his exam had he not accused one of the patients of faking an illness because “who’s stupid enough to lick that?!”
Muggle Studies ~ EE
--He only really got a good enough grade due to his aunts and his cousins who regularly went back and forth. He’s not any closer to understanding how exactly wifi works but he’s greatly enjoying figuring out Google.
Mythology ~ A
--As far as a class about different stories and histories go, this was slightly better than his usual history class. Not enough for him to pay more than minimal attention but, just slightly. He did enough to not outright fail and he’s pleased with the results.
Wandless Magic ~ EE
--This was a doozy of a course. Focusing and having innate control over oneself was not something that came easily to Cas. But with a lot of practice (and more often than not dodging whatever was being thrown at him) he managed to do better than he hoped on the exam.
Wizard Law ~ A
--Cas had really one taken the course since his family seemed to have rather close ties with the law and order system. Generally with the wrong side but he wasn’t supposed to talk about that. He studied enough to not completely fail but he’s not exactly sad he can’t continue.
