Core Classes
Astronomy : A
- Neil was never really good with astronomy. It had everything to do with the stars which did nothing to hold his attention. Though he was not about to fail, he studied for the exam. Luckily, he managed an Acceptable grade.
Charms : E
- Charms wasn’t Neil’s strong suit, but he wasn’t terrible at it either. Studying hard on the exam, he did manage to Exceed Expectations. It was enough to continue in the subject which was all he could really ask for.
Defence Against the Dark Arts : A
- Defence was interesting, though learning about them wasn’t so bad Neil wasn’t really one for the dangers of the dark arts. He managed an Acceptable grade through his studies so he’d be able to continue in the subject.
Herbology : A
- Neil didn’t mind herbology though Professor Hill wasn’t the friendliest of professors. Either way Neil was happy to work with plants even if it wasn’t a strong skill of his. Studying hard he managed an acceptable grade overall which was a decent pass in his books.
History of Magic : O
- Neil’s best subject hands down was History. He loved history and he strived to be top of his class in it. Even if history wasn’t particularly useful for many career paths. Walking away with an Outstanding grade, Neil couldn’t be happier.
Potions : E
- Potions was another one of those classes that Neil understood. It was a straightforward class that he excelled at. With a bit of effort, he was able to Exceed Expectations. Great for him, considering how much he liked the subject.
Transfiguration : O
- Neil found Transfigurations to be complex yet rewarding. He worked hard to be top of his class and expected nothing less. In the end he managed to Exceed Expectations, something he was determined to continue to achieve.
Electives
Arithmancy : O
- Arithmancy was simply numbers, something Neil understood. It was a class he enjoyed and studying came relatively easy. In the end he got an Outstanding grade for his hard work and effort.
Cursebreaking : E
- Neil took Cursebreaking and found it to be much like defence. Though, it was something he could work with and didn’t mind exhausting his effort for. He managed to Exceed Expectations which was fine enough for him to continue in the subject.
Muggle Studies : E
- Muggle Studies was a class that Neil took out of curiosity. It was interesting to learn how different people lived. Exceeding Expectations, he was more then happy to continue in the subject possibly next year.
Mythology : E
- Mythology was much like History for Neil. He enjoyed all the reading unlike most probably would. He ended up Exceeding Expectations by the end and was rather proud of the turn out.
Study of Ancient Runes : O
- Neil was most looking forward to Ancient Runes. The elective was an interest of his and he quickly absorbed the knowledge given to him. It was really no surprise that he managed an Outstanding result. He certainly couldn’t wait to continue in the subject.
