A slight tinkling sound accompanied the mare as she trotted along a line of trees bordering a wide field, the bangles around her ankles clinking together with each step. Her long tail was held high and her ears swiveled as she picked up her pace into a canter and closed her eyes and smiled.

It had been quite some time since she had left her family herd behind, but she never tired of the freedom. No expectations, no more traditions, just free to do as she pleased. Which, most days, was not a lot if she was honest. She delighted in wandering the lands, studying nature, and playing games and usually did not take things very seriously. Life is short, so why be serious?

Giggling to herself, she took off in a full-on sprint, positively flying alongside the forest.

As she sped through the field, she caught sight of a light brown stallion moving along slowly. She immediately noticed his unique curling horns and...was that a skull on his face?? How bizarre! She just had to meet this character.

Slowing her pace to match his, she headed towards the stranger, shouting her greeting from a distance so as not to startle him.

"Hello there, stranger!" She bowed her head in greeting as she came closer and took in the stallion's full appearance. His mane and tail were impressively long and he seemed to be wearing another skull on his hindquarters.

"My name's Asiyah, I hope you are well! I must say, that is an impressive set of horns you have there," she said, waggling her own horn in the air.
