Rosalind was checking the outskirts of Odakota, making sure everything was going peacefully. Her tail swished behind her, having sent Usha to check some things from the air. Everything seemed peaceful, but the cat walker didn't want to take any chances. She knew there were some walkers, that meant ill will, and other things that could come and try to disturb the growing herd. It was a good thing there were walkers like her to make sure their herd leaders and the others were kept safe. If anything happened to the family that had taken her in, they would see her claws up close and personal. She was protective of those she cared about, whether she was a lady or not.
"Well, everything seemed peaceful. I am glad, hopefully it will stay that way,"she thought to herself. She began singing a little as she walked, she found it helped pass the time while she was on patrols. It made her happy too, since while she didn't think she had the greatest voice, she figured it was good enough.

Erik had been wandering for days, nights…he had lost count. He had made a mistake that he wouldn’t be able to reverse. One he wouldn’t be able to take back and would have to live with for the rest of his life. He cursed himself, he had done it again. These moments that he lived in his grief only pointed out how imperfect he really was. Disfigured and misguided, Sekhmet had made the right decision. He just had to live with it. He wasn’t there for her like he should have been. All of the love he had in the world, and he didn’t give her the commitment she deserved. The same for Jailbait. These past mistakes he wish he could rewrite for them, for their children…but he wasn’t the father, the lover, the partner that they deserved. He needed time to rebuild himself, to recover and do better by those in his life.
His ears flickering as he heard a melody in the distance, his grey eyes narrowing in the direction. He wanted to stop himself, but his curiosity got the better of him. Slowly, and cautiously he made his way to the voice, he smelled walker but he had never heard of a walker singing before.
