Fear: It's possible that Ki Nà's actions are motivated by fear. Kuei-jin are inherently vulnerable creatures, and the world is full of powerful enemies. Ki Nà is driven by a deep-seated fear of death or destruction, and her actions are motivated by a desire to protect herself and her clan from harm.
Prompt Response:
Wake up.
That's what her body told her to do. No. Not her body. Someone was there urging her to awaken.
Did she want to? No. She felt stiff and sore and just utterly annoyed.
Frowning, she opened her eyes to stare at the individual who's voice had cut through the endless sleep that she had been in for... she had lost count of the years that had slipped past. That was an unsettling thought. She yawned and stretched, flicking a pointed tail as she sat up and stared at Ebon Dragon. A message from her Goddess. A frown creased her face. Those damned Cainites. Like dogs.
But now it was time for action. It was time to begin assessing her resources and determine who among her followers were the most capable and committed to the cause. From there, she would begin to strategize and plan, identify areas of weakness in her Dharma and seek ways to shore them up.
So much to do. So little time!
She licked her lips as a grin pulled her lips and bowed. "I hear and obey the call. It's time to party!"
