Demon God 2.0 Baby Concept Contest! OVER!

As Faetasia awoke, so did many of the gods who had slipped into a deep slumber. Among them was Malum, God of Demons, returning to his proverbial throne and welcomed back by his family. It seemed there was no particular reason for the long sleep, he was certainly not known for any sort of reasoning for anything he did. And yet, Malum had not been idle as he lay dormant at the bottom of his temple. He had been gathering power, hoarding it, drowning in it, until he had enough to complete his goal.

And so not long after waking, Malum bestowed his mate, the demon, Aisenma, with this gift of power. He turned her from a mere demon to an angelique that could finally rule at his side, untouchable, forever bound. A new era for all demons would soon begin.

But first they had to celebrate and with that comes the arrival of their first full god 2.0 children!
One of which you now have the chance to take home with you with a concept contest!

Faekat Name: Merihem
Personality: Wicked, conniving and fond of watching others in pain because of his actions, but just a little lazy... After all, sloth is a sin too (at least to some), so why shouldn't he indulge in the wicked act of slothfulness on occasion, especially if he can do it by forcing others to do what he won't? Merihem's games include trapping idiots who wander into the temple in places they can't escape until they're either begging for release... Or willing to do whatever he wants them to do, just to get out.
If they get hurt along the way, well that's just a bonus, right?
Despite his laziness, he does enjoy going out of the temple, and occasionally hunting some poor souls for a little fun, a little torment. Despair just has the most delicious scent, doesn't it?

Whoever he's toying with, if the poor fool is unlucky enough, he might keep them around, though. After all, a good toy should be cherished... They just might not enjoy what he thinks of as 'cherishing' them.
Family Ties: He adores his parents, and his co-god2.0 siblings, to the fullest extent this little beast can adore anyone. His demon and dark angelic siblings? Well, he has no opinions one way or the other. Demons are demons, and he would leave those siblings alone for his parents' sake. Perhaps if they proved themselves, he might find more interest or respect for them. The Dark Angelics are strange to him, for how did that even happen? But they are at least more powerful than the Demon siblings, so they have a bit of respect.
His father's protectiveness, odd or not... His mother's past existence... It all is fine with him. What came before he existed doesn't really matter to his life experience, and a protective father means (In his mind) he doesn't have to worry too much about idiots who get all up in arms about being played with.

Personality: Cerberus may seem like a mindless brute but that couldn't be farther from the truth- the mindless bit, anyhow. Handling with care is not something he knows how to do. While he may not be guarding the gates of Hell, his name was given to him for a reason. He is the family guard dog. Vicious and snapping, ready to rip anyone to pieces that would so much as wrinkle their nose in distaste at his parents or siblings. He is quiet, calm, collected. Bitter cold and calculating. His temper does not show, even in bloodshed and violence; it is with the most utter calm that he would deliver his wrath. But it is always there. The beast lurking beneath the surface. A silent killer.
Family Ties: Family is to be respected even if he does not feel a bond towards a particular individual. That does not matter to him; personal standings do not interfere with the simple fact that blood is blood. Cerberus doesn't seem to have any negative feelings at all towards some siblings being Dark Angelics. Their family came of Demons so as far as he is concerned, those older siblings were the proof of Malum's rise to power, elevating their family to a new level. He and his siblings are proof of Aisenma's rise to Angelique. Pride is what he feels in regards to his family.
Anything Extra: You're a cutiepatootie. I don't have any solid plot ideas just yet but I've got a couple musings. I'm 100% open to future plots, family interactions/dynamic discussions, and any plot ideas you and Deb may have. I know I kept this short but I like to leave wiggle room on a character so that they can further develop through RPs. <33

Faekat Name: Shaitan
Personality: Shaitan is darkness incarnate, and here to encourage depravity, wickedness, and do all that he can to bring hell to Faetasia. Generally speaking, and to those who don't know him well, he's nothing more than a large predator, here to crush those that cross him, and torment those unlucky to be caught in his web. This is, of course, all very true -- he finds ways to inflict torment and pain, but there's more to him than just violence incarnate.

A warrior at heart, Shaitan is ready to help lead the legions of hell. Or at least, that's what he would like to be doing, if there were legions in Hell. He knows he was born to great purpose, and as much as he loves embracing a life of sadism and pain, he does feel as if he has some larger calling. Perhaps it's the folly of youth, a young demon god, looking to make his mark on the world; or perhaps, he is meant to do something meaningful and great for the demons of the world.... but for now? He's a listless predator, who takes out his boredom the best way he knows how -- and leaving a wake of blodshed in the process.

To those who know him, he is stern, serious, and militant. Malum says jump, he jumps higher than anyone else in the room. He is eager for the approval of his family, but getting that can be difficult -- for what demon would so willingly show such weakness? And feelings are weakness to Shaitan. Softness. Tenderness. Those are not feelings he knows how to process, and yet, somewhere deep, deep, down in the black heart, he inherited them from his mother. They're foreign to him, and not something that's drawn out easily -- for he much rather would be tough, strong, and show no weakness at all.

Unfortunately, like his mother, who is known to have moments of cuddliness and playfulness, and his father, who protects them viciously, so does Shaitan have soft-spots. Most of the time he buries them. However, he is loyal to Malum, and everything he does, is to better serve the God of Demons. He will be protective of his family, though his arrogance and pride will likely cause no end of rivalries or tussles. Furthermore, deep down, there is a soft, snuggle-bunny in there, but it will take time, and the right dark angelic to draw it out.

Family Ties: Shaitan respects, fears, and loves his father (in a demonic love sort of way). as well as his mother. It doesn't bother him that she was once a dark angelic -- she was chosen by Malum, and that's all that matters. They are his guiding star, and he does not question their authority at this age.

Listless with youth, and wanting to do great things, it is possible he might butt-heads with his father from time to time for plot purposes, or his siblings for that matter. As far as his god siblings, he will likely have some sort of rivalry with one or both...though he will crush anyone who tries to do them wrong. Just because he fights with them, doesn't mean anyone is allowed to lay a finger on them, so help Shaitan.... He tolerates his siblings, but there's care there, in his own demonic way. I think his relationship will depend on talking it out with the owners, admittedly, but family is family and it's a bond he knows well.

I would love to learn more about the demons, and plot with all the owners involved with the family. I would love to find some use for Shaitan -- I don't know if the demons have any armies, or legions, or if they need warriors, but Shaitan is here to serve. He wants to make Malum proud -- so he might try to serve in ways Malum never asked to be. Perhaps he gets into trouble with another god. Perhaps he risks the family on accident and needs to make amends. I'd be up for any sort of story...

Finding his place seems to be a big driver for this character, he just doesn't know what his place is, and as a god, feels like he has much to offer Malum, and the demons of Faetasia.
