Tell us a bit about your RP style: Give me all of the plots, please! I love RPs/plots that run the gamut: romance, intrigue, chaos, battle, heartbreak. What I really love is building a story with other people. My style ranges from short and snappy to longer and storybook-like. Just depends on the scenario. I do not have any hard no plot types at this time.
Why does this particular character appeal to you?: Okay first of all, it's Ravnos, and what is not to love? Second of all, Ravnos. Thirdly, Ravnos. But fourthly, I just think the prompt is so much fun, and I would dearly love to plot Ravnos stuff with Yaya & co.
Vampire’s Name: Vano, diminutive form of Ivan, which is a form of John.
Vampire’s Personality: True, Vano is a liar and a thief, and true, he lies so well you could never know looking him in the face that he's stretching the truth. But that's just what Vano frames it as: truth spinning. He's telling a tale and if you're entertained, why, that's half the job done there. Learning his truths from his lies is half the fun of it. But don't stop there, that's the surface level. Inside his chest is a non-beating heart filled with valor and unbelievable love for his clan. To Vano, the Ravnos are not merely a clan, but the best kind of family.
He could steal a golden coin in front of your nose and make it look like art. It might just take a little while to process that it happened at all. Vano is just that good. Of course, he's been at it for a very long time. Part bard, part scoundrel, part rascally thief, this gitano man lives by his own laws. In his heart he is gooder than gold, but with a dastardly, dark sense of humor and a terribly clever mind that will leave his enemies sputtering in his wake, left far behind this reckless rogue. For a rogue he is, through and through, but don't let that fool you.
When it comes to his clan, he's dead damn serious. The Ravnos are his people, before anything else, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect them. Whatever it takes, damn the consequences... unless those consequences would happen to fall on his own clan, then hell, there's always someone to point the blame at. Better to have a plan in that case, set it all up to make someone else take the fall - some other clan, not Ravnos. Part man, part crow, all chaos. But damn if he isn't brilliant at it.
Motivations and Goals: Vano's goal, post-waking up, is to get as much as he can for the clan out of each and every one of the other clans. That is, without risking the safety and well-being of his own clan. Starting an inter-clan war definitely would go against what the Ravnos are aiming for, but you know, it might actually be fun to pit different factions against each other. Just so long as no fingers can be pointed this way. Make no mistake, Vano is going to be checking on each and every kumpaniyi, and within them, each of his 'family' members.
Prompt Response: Some mulo had started this fight, and the ******** Prince was doing nothing about it. Vano crushed the letter in his hand, an implacable fury burning within his chest. "Get the kumpaniyi together," he said, a wicked light in his eyes. "Here's what we're going to do." Gathering his people first would be paramount. Although Vano could do it by himself, that was hardly the way to repay what had been done to their kumpaniya. No, it was time that the mulo learned just what it meant to anger a Ravnos... and that a strike against one was a strike against all.
And tonight, Vano would be the one doing the teaching. Kaen help them. "We're going to make them think they're doing it to each other, got it? And we're going to do it so well they will be spinning their tails until they're dizzy." But they needed to make sure that it was blatant that the cause of the unrest was the poor treatment of his kumpaniya. Maybe then the Prince would give a rat's a** for their troubles. If they made it her trouble, she just might.
"Don't waste any time. They're going to hit us on the way there and on the way back, if they can. But we're not going to give them a chance to notice it's us." Phralmulo and gajo alike had skin in this game. To attack a member of clan Ravnos, whether physical or not, was to ask for justice to be served... and by the clan itself. For it was no one's surprise that the Prince hadn't budged in favor of a Ravnos. Well, Vano was not going to let that stand. Let those mulo become her problem, until there could be no ignoring the clan's very just complaint.
