Shhhhh, we're hunting two-legs! Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku ghosted through the forest near his teepee with even more stealth than was usually his wont, ears and eyes scanning the area this way and that. In his mouth he gripped a small gift for the one who would be watching with him...to him, he didn't really care if they found a human or not. But maybe...maybe he could find out more about Olathe. She was fascinating...but he already knew the danger in letting himself fall to such an attraction. And yet...he could not resist the lure to try. JadeEye Olathe was magnificantly gifted with the art of being quiet when she moved, both born with grace innate of a female and because she was so very careful of where she placed her hooves. She was unsure if she was heading in the right direction, despite her silent movements but Ilianna had given her directions and had also led her partway there. The blue femme was still new to the area, afterall. She was encouraged when she caught a scent on the wind that was familiar. If Helaku was not here, then at least he had been recently. Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku's ears pricked when he heard the very slight sound of another Soquili. At this time, it could only be Olathe. Suddenly he was nearly overcome by nervousness. What if she'd rethought things, and changed her mind, and that was why she was coming herself? He'd feel such a fool...nothing to be done for it though. Shoving such thoughts to the back of his mind, he snorted softly and showed himself to her, showing her the gift he'd brought. JadeEye Olathe had started to wonder if maybe she had missed him or something, but soon enough she heard motion not far off and a shift in the shadows. She was about ready to give a hesitant query of who was there, but the familiar stallion showed himself. "Oh, there you are," she said softly, a grin spreading on her muzzle, her eyes trailing from his masked eyes to the objects in his mouth. Were those flowers? She grinned a little wider as she came closer. Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku smiled around the flowers and nodded. "Mmmhmm," was all he could say, since his mouth was, well, full. Sometimes he envied two-leggers their ability to hold something and talk at the same time...oh well, he supposed they had to have some compensation for lacking the speed and strength of a Soquili. JadeEye Olathe eyes the flowers with a sort of surprised expression on her face. She was certainly flattered, that was sure. No one had ever given her flowers...unless that wasn't at all what he meant by it. "For me?" she ventured coyly as she got closer, lightly brushing her muzzle against the soft petals of the assortment for a moment. "Or do you think your two-legger will be tempted by such pretty things?" They were beautiful, in any case. Nel_Zelpher_2005 "For you," Helaku replied shyly. Or he tried, anyways. It ended up more like, "Ffffrrr oooo." He hadn't really thought about the two-legger all that much...who knew if it was even male or female? And he didn't really know much of their ways. JadeEye She giggled softly at his murmured attempt at answering her, but got the gist of what he was trying to say. "Well thank you...they're lovely," she said gracefully as she reached out to take them from him so he could talk. He needed to tell her what they were going to do anyway. Perhaps if they found a spot to hide, she could set them down somewhere safe. Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku smiled softly in pride and nodded. Once he was able to speak, he moved to a small hollow. "Over here we'll be able to stay out of sight, methinks. If you don't mind the quarters being a bit close, but Mai will warn us if we're in any danger." JadeEye She gently held the stems in her mouth and nodded to acknowledge what he said, following carefully to the hollow. The mare looked around the nearby area appraisingly before finding a little nook between two gnarled tree roots, which she used to set the flowers between to protect them. "That sounds fine, Helaku," she answered easily, not at all put off by the fact the space was a little cramped, as she returned to his side after placing the flowers in a safe place. "I don't suspect we'll be in much danger anyway....but it is better to be safe then sorry."
