Yup. One of the stores locally carries sugar skulls and decorations for it.

I wish christians had a holiday like that. They all fear death. My mom thinks I'm morbid because I like skulls, she complains that all it means is death. And that's not true. I have a skull on my very much alive body right now. It protects my important brain.

When a christain who isn't informed hears "day of the dead" they just freak out. I learned about it in second grade at a mexican art camp. xp
