My FFX has developed some mysterious scratches on the game, ages ago. The game won't work. My little brother made it run again for a while some time ago but it's broken again. The scratches aren't very deep. Could someone please tell me if there's still a small chance to make it work again?

There is hope for it.
All you need to do is get the disk resurfaced, Here in New Zealand it can be done at most video / DVD rental places and usually costs about $10

I'm not sure where you are, but try going to the Video rental shops around your area and asking if they have a Disk Resurfacing service, and how much it costs.

Aside from that.. you would probablly have to go out and buy a new copy of the game.. as PS2's don't like scratched Cd's like the PSones did..

Hope this helped!

I once got my VIII resurfaced at a video place and it didn't work much better, but it's worth a shot, especially if it's cheap.
