There was a hawk just sitting on my fence for like 20 minutes this morning, the lighting was really weird 'cause I had to take the pic from inside and when I tried to get closer it noticed me. after it took off you could hear all these birds screaching like he was about to eat them or something, it was really cool. My dog was even afraid of him

My dog was even afraid of him /That is a redtail hawk., indigenous to this area..... and they get to be very big!!!

There is a lot of farm land around where I live, and I see hawks frequently (after the little critters in the corn and cotton fields I suspect ^^), but never have I been able to see one up that close before!

Just last week I saw a hawk fly into this squirrel nest in my back yard. He was kind of digging through for about 5 minutes, and then this squirrel comes shooting down the tree and ran under our tree house. The way the hawk was digging through the nest really scared me for some reason.
O.O;;
