personality- calm and steady, Wren is one of those who always keeps a cool head in any situation. He has a friendly demeanor and an easy smile for everyone; especially his twin sister Marna. His sister is probally the only one who understands his odd sense of humor.

bio/history- Weyrbred in Telgar, Wren has been around dragons pretty much his entire life. His parents are both dragonriders from Telgar; his mother a greenrider and his father a bluerider. He and his sister lived a comfortable life in the weyr and were happy there for a long while. Recently, both he and Marna were found on Search for Ieirne weyr and, refusing to be seperated, both agreed and now reside at the weyr to await the next hatching.

personality- In complete contrast to her calm, collected, confident brother, Marna is a bit shy around new people and relies heavily on her brother Wren for support when she settled into new situations. Normally soft spoken and also kind, Marna has only had to raise her voice once in her lifetime and that was because her brother had nearly gotten himself killed while looking for firelizard eggs and ended up falling off a cliff. She'd run faster than she'd ever done and yelled causing the entire weyr to get into an uproar. Thankfully he survived without to much damage. Marna loves helping the wery's dragonhealer and is forever helping with injured dragons.

gender- Male
description- Short and tanned, with tree-brown hair and steely grey eyes. Xephir has a crooked nose from an encounter with an over-eager green during a hatching, and a number of rake scars on his abdomen for the same reason. His left arm has a thread-score on it, but it was a minor injury gained from being irresponsible on the ground crew after a fall.

personality - Xephir has always been a cheerful young man, but as he grew older, his sense of responsibility began to color that optimism into more of a bright realism. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst is a fine way to describe his outlook.
While he is good at cheering up his fellows and peers, the most promising factor of his personality was his innate ability to convince people to follow his instructions. He was often made to watch younger children and guide them in doing unpleasant chores, finding a way to make it both efficient and enjoyable.
bio/history - Born to the ancient High Reaches Weyr, Xephir was a fosterling and had grown used to the idea by age eight that while he loved to watch the dragons, he'd never ride them. The last rider in his family had been his great grandfather, and only of a green. He understood that dragons went to stronger, more capable hands than his own. Especially now, in these trying times, as the threat of thread grew more and more imminent.
So, he focused his skillful tricks of persuasion and command to get little ones to do their work, and become a type of teacher for them. Not like the harper, but more of an experienced guide. Perhaps, if he was lucky, he'd get to assist the weyrling master some day.
Years passed and finally the thread threat was too near. At fifteen turns, Xephir was invited to join the creation of the new Weyr Ieirne. The prospect was thrilling, and provided him a chance to assist in building something greater than himself. A tempting idea indeed. No one told him that he was going not only to build, but to stand as a candidate for the first clutch of the weyr.
He was completely unprepared for that bit of knowledge, and didn't know whether to be saddened or contented when he walked away still alone in his mind. Perhaps just glad that he was alive at all, after that green had trampled him.

Name- D'ran

Age- 27

Gender- Male

Description- D'ran is tall and lean, but has muscle enough for his occupation. Unremarkable brown hair, clipped short, frames a square face. He has no freckles to mar his tan skin, which complements his dark brown eyes. He often wears stury work clothes or flying gear, but like all riders, he has seceral sets of well-made Gather finery.

Personality- He is a reliable young man who works well with and without supervision. He sometimes makes snap decisions, and he can handle the responsibilities of a wingsecond with ease. In spite of his responsibilities, D'ran finds time to be sociable and has developed a good sense of humor.

Origin- Southern Weyr

History- D'ran, originally called Daran, was born in Southern Weyr to a female greenrider, but was given to the womenfolk of the Lower Caverns for raising almost immediately. While he saw his parents often, he never thought of them as "mother" or "father." The only thing he had in common with them was a love for dragons. To be a dragonrider was his one ambition. When he was finally allowed to stand as a candidate for a Hatching, at 13 Turns, he almost didn't Impress. When only three eggs remained unhatched, he began to give up hope. Then, all at once, two green dragons and a bronze burst from their shells. While he had tried to convince himself earlier that even a green would be fine, he knew it was untrue as he locked eyes with the little bronze. Impression had occurred. As a weyrling, he and his dragon had been outstanding. In their their Turn as regular wing riders, the two were promoted to wingsecond. When Ieirne Weyr was founded, D'ran followed its progress carefully, harboring a desire to one day be a part of the newest of Pern's Weyrs. Two Turns later, he was granted his wish and transferred to Ieirne Weyr.

Dragon's Name/Color- Bronze Voliath

Dragon's Personality- Well suited to be D'ran's match, Voliath has a cool head and a strong sense of justice. He is a good leader, and can judge his own and D'ran's limits well, as well as the limits of the dragons and riders in his wing.

Description: Minoa has mid-length black hair and deep green eyes. She is average in height and has a lanky build. She generally wears simple clothes which are usually healer purple.

Personality: Minoa is steady and strong when it comes to healing but tends to be reserved when she is not healing. She is gentle and kind and loves all creatures. She enjoys the company of others and, when she knows them well, will enjoy conversing. In some discussions she tends to stay quiet unless she feels she can add something to the conversation.

Weyr: Ierne

History: Minoa had a simple history. When she was young she went to Healer Hall and trained. She is now a Journeyman Healer and has been sent to Ierne Weyr.

His eyes are what stand out the most, for they resemble that of the ocean under the moonlight, a deep yet light blue. Across one eye and along the side of his cheek are scars.

personality-A reckless gambler. He carries around a coin. one side has an emblem of a hawk but the other side is blank. He waits for the day to put something on it.

bio/history-A youth learning what it means to me a man. As a youth growing up he was a gambler. When the other kids said no he would get hurt he did it anyway. As he grew the things he gambled his life on became more and more dangerous. Until he was searched by the Weyr. He impressed Midiath and was taken under as a rider's apprentice to learn the ways and one day fight thread, but his teacher died shortly after leaving Kitan unable to become part of a weyr. Since then he has lived only with Midiath and Tyuli.

dragon's personality-Midiath at times tends to be single minded. He likes testing his limits, which is perfect for his rider. When He was impressed the first image he was able to send to Kitan clearly was that of a cliffside overlooking the ocean. just on the horizon was a small island. Since then Midiath and Kitan continue to search for the island.
