bio/history- Kes was born out on the road with her trader family. When she was 6 her family was killed by a group of renegades and Kes barely managed to escape with her life. Since then, she hasn't remained in one place for very long and tended to run away from all her foster homes when she was younger. She tried to make a place for herself at a Healer Hall when she was 16 but was run out when she began having to steal things in order to eat. Kes was found on Search during a stay at Honshu Weyrhold;where she was working temporarily as a messenger. and resented being forced to stay in one place. Resently, Kes has begun to show interest in making friends since she's been made to stay at the weyr. She has the ability to Hear All Dragons. (HAD)

Since her Impression of golden Wreth, Kes has been a lot more open about herself and even has an ever growing friendship with fellow rider F'lin and his brown dragon Garinth. Kes has even learned, with Wreth's aid, how to fully control her ability to hear the dragons.

personality- Very solitary and hard to get to know. Protective of her secrets and friends when she makes them. Kes has a hard time opening up to people because of her past. After she Impressed Wreth, she learned to open up more and now is a lot more friendly with others.

Dragon's Personality/History- Wreth is demanding and high-strung, she expects to get things right when she wants them and will show her displeasure by biting at Kes's legs when the girl isn't fast enough. She adores Kes though, even if it doesn't seem like it. Wreth often encourages her new rider to try new things and to make friends. Wreth has a soft spot for firelizards and shows this quiet often. At the moment, little Wreth blocks Kes's ability to hear other dragons while the girl becomes accoustomed to her new life in the weyr.

AFTER TIME JUMP:

Two years have come and gone since Wreth first locked eyes with her new lifepartner. Much has changed in the young gold since then. She's become a bit more mature and has developed a bit of a playful streak. Wreth is also keenly interested in Kes's love life or lack thereof and is always encouraging the girl to be a little more open with the gentlemen. Wreth got it into her head to try and set Kes up with a brownrider named F'lin as the two obviously like one another. This often leads to she and Kes butting heads ending with sometimes hilarious results.

With Wreth due to rise soon though, Kes is increasingly nervous about the outcome as well as how F'lin will react afterwords.

AFTER SECOND TIME JUMP:

Well things change, as they always must, and Wreth rose. Her catcher was Bronze Voliath; one of the newcomers to the weyr. His ride D'ran was then promoted to the leader of his very own wing and Kes herself became Ierne Weyr's Junior Weyrwoman.

Wreth, as it turns out, is a very bad dragon to have pregnant. After a few months dealing with the viscious gold, Wreth clutched a healthy sized clutch of twenty eggs. Now she looks forward to seeing what the future holds for she and her new children.

bio/history- Impressed Cadeth at Benden when he was 16. Worked his way up to Wingleader when he was 21. Resently transferred to Ieirne Weyr when Benden became to crowded. Cadeth flew Weyrwoman Lina's gold Mith during her last flight making him Ieirine's new Weyrleader. Now after the weyr's first sucessful hatching and the new weyrlings considered full riders he certainly has his hands full.

personality- Calm and collected most of the time. Feircely protective of those closest to him. Very serious and rarely smiles except for Lina.

dragon's personality- Cadeth is the exact opposite of his rider M'gor. Fun loving and gentle, Cadeth is always happy about something. He makes it his life's work to make M'gor smile. Loves to meet new people and is very social. Likes to meet candidites. Hatchlings make him slightly nervous.

bio/history- T'gal, formally Tygal, has lived many places in his lifetime. Friendly and curious by nature, he's traveled to many a Weyr, hold, and cave in search of adventure. Impressed Blue Barith at 16 during a brief stay at Benden Weyr. Now resides at Ieirne Weyr where he is the weyrling master. Also has a close relationship with T'thia and her bronze Arizath.

personality- calm and steady, Wren is one of those who always keeps a cool head in any situation. He has a friendly demeanor and an easy smile for everyone; especially his twin sister Marna. His sister is probally the only one who understands his odd sense of humor.

bio/history- Weyrbred in Telgar, Wren has been around dragons pretty much his entire life. His parents are both dragonriders from Telgar; his mother a greenrider and his father a bluerider. He and his sister lived a comfortable life in the weyr and were happy there for a long while. Recently, both he and Marna were found on Search for Ieirne weyr and, refusing to be seperated, both agreed and now reside at the weyr to await the next hatching.

personality- In complete contrast to her calm, collected, confident brother, Marna is a bit shy around new people and relies heavily on her brother Wren for support when she settled into new situations. Normally soft spoken and also kind, Marna has only had to raise her voice once in her lifetime and that was because her brother had nearly gotten himself killed while looking for firelizard eggs and ended up falling off a cliff. She'd run faster than she'd ever done and yelled causing the entire weyr to get into an uproar. Thankfully he survived without to much damage. Marna loves helping the wery's dragonhealer and is forever helping with injured dragons.
