Maybe you should be quiet. I am proud of my Southern heritage. I just hate friggin' idiots like this coming in here and saying crap like this about rednecks.
Bah, what do you know anyway?
Want my qualifications?
I can shoot a .22 rifle and do damn good during deer season. I can fish, mostly for catfish as I love cooking them I clean my own fish I gut and clean my own deer (that I shoot).
I can most likely drink you under the table I do happen to use 'ya'll' and 'ain't'. Damn proud of it too. I can drive ATVs, pickup trucks, and a stick.
My dad's side of the family is pretty much the same way. But we're not only Southern (and redneck), we also enjoy many cultural pursuits. So yeah, I'm not grouping everyone who lives in the South as a redneck. But on my part? Hell yes.
On another note, I happen to like rock music, Love going to concerts, Live in a big city now, and still I am proud to be Southern.
By the way I am in no way racist. I just happen to be Southern. Anyone who thinks rednecks are racist (some of them are) are just plain ignorant. Don't like it? Take a hike and don't come back.
