Mesa the Wanderer Your lack of knowledge frightens me. Curse only does that for ghost types. If any other type uses curse, it increases their attack and defense by one stage(equal to 50%) and decreases their speed by one stage. the point of using it is to become as slow as possible so you get outsped and avalanche does double damage. also, in lines with this, Physical sweepers are supposed to ravage their opponents before their opponents can get off an attack. in this case, swampert would be considered a Tank, if my terminology is correct; it absorbs attacks while dishing out pain. Wilhemina Actually, I believe Avalanche has a priority modifier similar to Counter. Similar, but not exactly the same. Avalanche is ever so slightly faster than counter.

Edgar The Fanciful I prefer a BoltBeam Froslass. o; Froslass @ leftovers Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk) Trait: Snow Cloak EVs: 4 Def/ 252 Spd/ 252 Satk -Ice Beam -Thunderbolt -Spikes -Destiny Bond I prefer a mixed sweeper froslass XP Froslass Snow cloak Hasty (-defense/ +speed) Attack: 188, SpAttack:188, Speed: 134 Ice Fang Crunch Hail Shadow Ball Also good for setting up kill on a noob/ baton passers. Set up your snow cloak with hail, then use crunch or Shadow ball, both of which can lower your enemy's defensive stats.

I wanted to see how well this pokemon worked. It works so well! I tested it in OU on shoddy.
Shuckle
sassy
leftovers
--moves-- powertrick rockslide toxic gyroball ------------ basiclly i thought that people would just get around this set and pwn shuckle. Use power trick which switches its attack and godly defense making it like a thick club marowak. Then rock slide things to death. Only so this if you are going vs a special attacker. They think shuckle is weak and start setting with swords dance and stuff, then you pwn. I killed a salamance one hit this way. then if you are stuck just use toxic and gyro ball. It works for two things!

I believe it best to place this here, but
Baton bass + Agility combo perplexes me, I know Agility double the user's speed and BP passes all stat changes to next-in
But does this mean that my agility-user's speedx2 value is used by my next-in, or does it only double my next-in's speed?
ie: raichu uses agility then bp, switches in a scizor... would it be raichu's value doubled or scizor's value doubled?
To mods sorry if not in the right place but i figured it'd be best place, again my apologies if needed(and if incorrect please kindly correct me.)

(Agility doesn't double speed, but it raises the speed by 2 "stages". I'm not entirely sure on the mechanics of stages, but a poke can only have as high as +6 in each stat at once.)

Oh, does it really double speed? Does each stage add half of the Poke's total speed stat or am I just stupid?
