There was an official translation of Hylian on some of the pages in the Japanese Wind Waker manual. Most of the characters are based off of both Katakana and Hiragana characters.

Twilight Hylian is awesome, it resembles the english characters making them easy to remember but if people can understand it slightly at a glance, you can flip the text over!
