A mysterious young boy comes through the stargate warning the SGC of creatures called Re'tu (seen it spelled multiple ways) that seek to eliminate them and all humans, potential hosts for the Goa'uld. There is an added surprise, too: The boy has brought a single Re'tu ally with him, his "mother", who has a bizarre agitating effect on symbiotes. The creatures cannot be seen since they exist outside our phase and can therefore pass through solid matter. This is the episode where the TER (transphase eradication rod) is introduced, which later became useful against Anubis's Kull warriors.

yeah to make them visible but that was after anubis upgrades 2.0 kull warrior which include invisibility pack and increased speed pack.

The Kull weren't invisible, but their shielding required the TER to penetrate.

im sorry but when did the ter come into being able to get through the kull warriors armor. the telchak weapon is what does it. the ter is the weapon they use to identify and kill the re'tu.

The TER emits a form of energy that passes through the shield because it's multiphasic (if that's the word).

The Telchak device brings the Kull to life.
