Hello Folks, If you don't know me, I am Overlord Muffin. I pride in my FF games, and insist on 100% on each game. Also, I like to spend hundreds of hours in FFs (over a long time ) To insure my teams stats are Maxed, if its possible.

In this thread I'm posting the strongest teams, additional info, a job list, and I will have a FAQ section.

BEST POSSIBLE TEAM


Note: You may only want 2 item users, instead of 3

Ramza Form 3
Job: Squire - uses knight armor and weapons, semi- fast, and can use Yell
2nd ability - Math Skill ( Calculator )
Reaction: Damage Split ( Minimalises damage taken )
Support: Short Charge ( Speed up )
Movement: Ignore Height ( Exelent for running away. you dont want this char hit.)

Beowulf
Job: Temple Knight - You will want to use his abilitys such as Chicken, Dont Act, Pterify, Sleep and Shock. This are generally the best.
2nd Ability: Dance ( Bard ) for making team faster, or healing MP
Reaction: Blade Grasp ( Hit provention )
Support: Half MP
Movement: Move MP-up

T.G. Cid - Orlandu
Job: Holy Swordsmen
2nd Ability: Item ( This is ALWAYS a great ability to use )
Reaction: Distribute - shares excess hp with allies if health is maxed
Support: Two Swords
Movement: Move HP up

Agrias
Job: Holy Knight
2nd Ability: Item or Dance ( Dance to reduce MP of all caster enemies, making them useless )
Reaction: Hamedo
Support: AttackUp
Movement: Move +3

Meliadoul
Job: Divine Knight
2nd Ability: Item or Dance, same reason as above. Do not have both chars with same 2nd ability
Reaction: Counter or Counter Magic, depending on the battle
Support: Two Handed
Movement: Move +3

Stratagy:

It is best for all members to be equipped with atleast one Excalibur.
Once Ramza is Fast and safe, and hasted, have him cast holy on as many targets as possible, not worrying about hitting allies, if they have Excaliburs, it will heal. If you choose not to duplicate excaliburs, try to avoid hitting your allies.
Whomever can dance, have her use Witch Hunt if there are a fair number of enemy casters, or use any dance if there are none. If she can get close enough to a target, have her use her job skill, it should do good damage.
Your casters are Ramza and Beowulf, Ramza doesn't consume MP.
Beowulf can use a variety of incredibly high % of hitting spells.
Chicken, DontAct, Petrify, Sleep and Shock are his best.
Agrias Meliadoul and Orlandu are your tanks. They can take and deal great damage with their job skills.
Meliadoul's Shellbust Stab is a great skill as it hits hard and breaks armor.
Orlando and Agrias both have very strong skills. Heavenly Explosion and Thunder stab are amazing damage.

Reaction: Speed Save ( Raises speed by 1 when hit )
Support: Two Swords ( Two Spears )
Movement: Move HP-up

Generic 2:
Job: Archer
2nd Ability: Time Magic ( Haste, Don't Move, Don't Act are always nice )
Reaction: Critical Quick
Support: Defense Up
Movement: Move +3

Generic 3:
Job: Knight
2nd Ability: Charge
Reaction: Meatbone Slash or Blade Grasp
Support: Two Swords
Movement: Fly or Move +3

Generic 4 Female:
Job: Monk

DUPE

Personnaly I have not followed this sketchy stratagy of duping weapons... The only weapon I have duped useing these stratagies is Excalibur.

The sword must be stronger than any weapon currently
available or the best fit option must select it. Your character
must be able to equip shield and sword. Go into any shop and try
fit a weapon in the hand with the shield. This should also get
rid of the weapon in the other hand. Best fit the character and
exit the fit screen. You should now have another weapon in the
inventory. You can also use this trick with the best weapon in
the shop.

Using the duplication trick, you can duplicate any item the character
holds in their hand (all weapons and shields). This works from
the first battle of the first chapter to the last battle of the
game. First, put the weapon or shield to be duplicated in the
bottom hand (no two sword ability). Give your character all your
items that he can equip that has the highest HP, Attack, and Pevade.
Go into a shop that has the best weapons or shields that you can
equip are weaker than the one you wish to duplicated. If they
are same strength, this will only work if yours is more expensive
than the shop's best. Then, to the Fitting Room;, choose
the character with the item to be duplicated, then choose Try
it on. Pick the top hand, choose any weapon or shield on
the list. This should make you lose the item in your second hand.
Now, choose Best fit. It should be your original items.
Select OK to duplicate the item.

Getting Cloud, Worker and Beowulf

To do this you must...
1. Be in CHAPTER 4, before the Orbonne Monastery Battle.
2. You must have Mustadio(The Engineer) in your group.

Listen to the Rumor of the "Cursed Island" (Nelveska) at the bar in
Zeltennia Castle.

Buy a flower from the flower girl that looks like Aeris in Zarghidas
Trade City.

Go to Goug Machine City with Mustadio. Basrodio will look over a
steel ball found in the No. 57 Mine.

In the bar at Goland Coal City, listen to the Rumor of the "Ghost of
Colliery."

Get Beowulf to join your party in Lesalia Imperial Capitol.

Now, go back to Goland Coal City and complete the four battles.
When you save Reis, the Holy Dragon, have her join your party.
You will also receive the Aquarius Zodiac Stone in this city.
You will use it to activate the Steel Ball.

When you go back to Goug Machine City, the fearsome Steel
Giant will violently transform from the steel ball.

At the Nelveska Temple, you must defeat the evil Steel Giant
and recive another Zodiac Stone.

Return to Goug once again. The new Zodiac Stone will trigger
the Time Machine that will summon Cloud into the new world.
You almost have him! You still have to rescue him from
people that are picking on a flower girl that looks like Aeris.

Go to the Trade City of Zarghidas and protect Cloud from the
Thieves. If this does not happen, make sure the story has progressed
past dispute with your brother Dycedarg and the battle with his
metamorphosed soul, Adramelk. Cloud has no weapon when
he joins you. All he can do is defend! You can fix that problem.

Put the Chemist's "Move-find" ability and an additional
vertical jump (Lancer) on someone. Go to Bervenia and climb to
the top of the highest rock formation. There you will find the
Materia Blade, the sword Cloud can equip.
This sword makes it much faster/always availible to use Limit Breaks.

Cloud starts at level 1, you must build up his job points so you can
learn his limit breaks. You can learn all of the FF7 limit breaks among a new one.
