Hey everyone knows that the best thing on the table at Thanksgiving is the MASHED POTATOES. Don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise!

So I assume you're joining up then? Who wouldn't? If you're cool, go ahead and hold a bowl of ramen to show your support. It may not be mashed potatoes, but it is a form of starch. scream

But, people who overuse butter in their mashed potatoes are just crazy. So much better when made with chicken broth.

I drain out the juice after cooking the potatoes & then put in butter, milk, and part of the juice when I whip 'em up.
