Guilmon ran, afar from all Tamers and the Digimon that have been evacuated, into a telephone booth. Within a blink of an eye, Gallantmon exited in a powerful stance, eyes narrowed on the task at hand and a serious face filled with determination. With a single bound, the crimson caped Digimon was atop the tallest building of Network City. Viewing and simply listening to the entirety of what was going on, Gallantmon took a step off the building and fell toward the ground of the city, toward the group of Digimon which were fighting alongside a young girl, surrounding her as she commanded them. As this Mega Level Digimon hurdled its body towards the ground, something quite out of the ordinary occurred. Right before it would've landed head first into the ground, the Digimon's path curved horizontally parallel to the Earth and dashed in the speed of a sonic boom, flying nonetheless without its feet even touching the ground once. "Final Elysian!" it announced calmly as it blasted through several of the Meteormon and Volcanomon with one simple attack that devastated many more than an attack from any Mega Digimon should have. This Digimon was exceptionally strong, and had quite a lot more just waiting to be revealed. "It's good to see there's more than just me putting up a good fight!" Gallantmon said in a friendly tone to Dianamon as it came to a halt once it completed clearing its far yet quick path to the Digimon.
The skies had changed in colour as well, from clear blue, to orange, and now into an ashen grey, with a lingering tint of orange remaining. The clouds enveloped the sky within moments as many more meteors started to make an impact on the city, so to say. Seeing a nearby oncoming meteor, Gallantmon swooshed right toward it, and encircled the large rock with its blinding fast speed. This caused for the meteor to levitate midair, and was sent back flying into the sky as more meteors showered down from the sky. Flying back beside Dianamon, Gallantmon's only words were "Funny weather we're having," said with a kind smile, while still reading the opponent's next move, watching their divide and conquer strategy that has been working quite well thus far. Floating in the air in a heroic pose, Gallantmon readied itself to defend its city from these invaders. |

[Sophie suddenly yanked Daemon's horns, causing him to do a barrel roll to the right. His wings flapped wildly as he tried to regain composure and, once he finally did, he growled and turned his eyes upwards. "What the hell did you do that for?" Daemon snapped at his tamer. When he was robed, he was usually much more formal, but in this mode, he was absolutely itching to join the fight and was super annoyed that he wasn't allowed to so that he could cart Sophie around. Sophie leaned over a bit so that Daemon could see her, her black longs hanging in front of her pale face like a waterfall. She pointed to a meteor that had just crashed into an unsuspecting digimon. "There was a meteor coming for you. Stay aware." Daemon muttered under his breath but said no more, knowing very well that Sophie was, unfortunately, right.
Down in the streets that Daemon floated above, pandemonium had ensued. Omnimon X was ravaging his enemies, showing not the slightest bit of mercy as he hacked and slashed and smashed anything that dared stand in his way. Although Imperialdramon hovered above the city, his massive form casting a shadow upon it, and commanded Omnimon, the digimon ignored him. He destroyed as he pleased. SlashAngemon was fighting more tactically. Under Imperiadramon's guide, he leaped into the air and shoved his blade to the sky. The heavens looked as if they parted, an energy coming down and wrapping itself around SlashAngemon's blade. He then spread his metal wings and shot downwards, slamming the blade into the first Volcamon he saw. The digimon exploded into data, along with a great many Meteormon and Volcamon around it. Once the dustcloud of data disappeared, SlashAngemon stood threateningly alone on the street, daring anyone to challenge him further.
Sophie drummed her chin as she pondered. The Heaven's Blade was a risky move for SlashAngemon to do, in case any other tamers or innocent digimon were on the street. She hoped Imperialdramon knew what he was doing. Just as she thought that, Seraphimon blazed past her, The same split that was closing up that SlashAngemon created glowed once more, and seven glowing-white meteors trailed Seraphimon as he passed from under it. The split closed up, and one might be able to tell that they weren't meteors as they chose a location, stopped following Seraphimon, and shot down to their targets below. Strike of the Seven Stars. Good, Sophie thought. Good call.
The pseudo-sins were doing well for themselves, as usual. Sophie looked over at Dianamon and raised an eyebrow when she saw Dianamon's new friend.
"Absolutely so..." Dianamon responded, halting her attacks and holding her scythe at her side. She examined Gallantmon and turned back to the street, raising her scythe in front of her. She placed her hand on it and then drew it backwards. A string of light came from it, as if the scythe had become a large bow, and once it had been pulled back far enough, an arrow had joined it as well. Dianamon let go of the Arrow of Artemis. It cut through the air, whizzing past meteors, and slammed into a thick patch of volcamon. They exploded into data. Dianamon looked sideways at Gallantmon. "You would think with all this destruction that the Royal Knights would be helping...." She said calmly, wanting to gauge the Gallantmon's reaction.]

Gallantmon nodded in response to Dianamon, "Well, technically, I am one... but I was raised not to be big headed about it," Gallantmon replied with a smile in its eyes, even through this devastation, it seemed it had taken a liking to this Digimon. There was more to this Digimon than met the eye, much more. "Now," it said as it raised its Gram lance outward, "Lightning Joust!" it said in a rather calm voice, as it was suddenly at the other end of the City already, continuing on in a large square, reappearing beside Dianamon from behind. The only ones who would've been able to see this Digimon's lightning speed travel, quite literally, was Sophie and Daemon. Once it plunged Gram back into the ground, a chain reaction of explosions occurred in the very path Gallantmon had gone through. It provided a clear path as well for Soma and Kai to hopefully team up with Sophie's Digimon, while they were not even able to see Gallantmon pass when it attacked, as the Digmon was only visible at the four points in when it had to turn in its square routed attack path. The numbers of the opposing Digimon were halved in an instant, but it did not mean this battle was nearing the end. Gallantmon kept an eye on the sky more so this time, as it seemed to have not been to alert prior to the second assault of meteors. The skies were calm as far as any Digimon or Tamer could see, without any movement for the time being. "More are coming..." it stated to Dianamon without any visible sign.
"I am sure the Royal Knights have their reasons for taking time, but until then, I'm sure that is why they enlisted Tamers to help, and don't forget Digimon like me who like to stand up to evil every now and then," it answered to Dianamon, as it withdrew Gram and flew high into the sky. Within a matter of seconds it was beside Sophie, saluted her and Daemon with a friendly gesture, as it continued on to fly at speeds not even the strongest flying Digimon could expect to reach. It stood rather majestically in the sky, as the little light from the sky shines through the clouds onto the Digimon, illuminating its face, armor and cape. Gallantmon could see with its eyes that something was coming, much larger than the meteors.

["A Royal Knight, did you hear that, Umon?' Mused a voice from the top Dianamon's scythe. The metal of the bottom of her double-scided weapon shivered in amusement, the black liquid on its surface pulsating. "Oh yes, Amon. A Royal Knight, how peculiar." Dianamon, for once, did not silence the little devils that resided in her weapon. She let them banter, and that was her mistake. In her moment of relaxation, Umon and Amon separated from her scythe, the red and black balls of data immediately going over to Gallantmon. They orbited around him in a vortex, their yellow eyes and mouths moving as they examined him. "But is he one of THE Royal Knights, that's the question, is it not?" Amon suggested, looking over Gallantmon's shoulder to stare into his helmet. Umon pushed past Amon and snickered. "But does it matter, brother? Either way he's a knight, and as we know, knights are filfthy, selfish, tepid -"
"That's enough!" Dianamon twirled her scythe, and a silver light burst forth from it in a wave. It covered Gallantmon as it passed by, and once it was gone, so were Amon and Umon. They had been forced back into their home. Dianamon put her hands on her head, rubbing her temples. She glanced over her hand at Gallantmon. "Ignore them. They're vile digimon. I don't even think they're digimon." She looked down at the destruction that Gallantmon had wrought, finally able to voice her praises. "You seem talented with that lance of yours." Dianamon admitted. She turned her head and noticed that the digimon had already gone up and away into the sky. 'More are coming' He had said.
"More are coming." Sophie whispered in Daemon's ears. The two had barely been able to see Gallantmon's attack. Daemon had whistled, impressed, and Sophie remained silent. He was clearly a powerful digimon, but he was a Knight, which bothered him. After all, the Royal Knights had been the ones to employ that Tamer that killed her brother, after they had given them trouble for a year. She doubted any of them would recognize her now, though. Her hair had turned a dark black color, her skin paler, and her body much more toned from survival. The only distinguishable feature about her was her piercing eyes, which now followed Gallantmon in the sky. Her eyes squinted. "What is he looking at -- what is that?"
"SlashAngemon, lead Omnimon back to where the meteors landed! Seraphimon, cover them!" Imperialdramon shouted. He desperately wanted to fight, but he knew it would be impossible without reverting to a smaller form. If Sophie wanted him to command, then command he will. "Lilithmon, take out anyone that gets as far as Chronomon! Beelzemon, get through their front lines and get them from the back! Lucemon, I already told you to stick to the skies!" Imperialdramon let out an exasperated grunt. The Demons never listened to him. He looked over his shoulder at the Gallantmon that had been so helpful and noticed him staring at a spot in the sky. What was so interesting up there? ]

Gallantmon had heeded Dianamon's advice about the two Digimon that originated from Goldramon before it even had even spoken it, yet nodding to acknowledge them. Now that the Digimon was airborne, static in the air, Aegis and Gram that were in its hands simply disappeared as the Digimon kept its hands outwards in a catching formation. Exhaling deeply, the crimson cape Digimon readied itself, as still no Digimon or Tamer would be able to see what was actually coming. Suddenly the Digimon plummeted towards the middle of the city, being pushed back by an invisible force, making the whole scene seem so absurd. It wasn't until when Gallantmon had come fallen close enough to the city that there was destruction outlining slight destruction to the structure of the building, while Gallantmon held onto the extremely large, yet invisible mass. Gallantmon's face seemed restrained holding this invisible object for a minute, as it looked down on the city that it protected for a moment, and pushed back against the mass, lifting it upward and right onto a barren area north of the city where it had not been cultivated yet, with the exception of a Raggedy Inn which was luckily closed for the day. The movement of this object also took a number of the attacking Digimon out as well, as well as the obliteration of the Inn.
Once the mass landed, a massive tremor occurred throughout the island by the mere size of what Gallantmon had exactly carried for a minute in the air. It was finally visible to all else who were in or around Network City: it was an entire city, known as GraphicBoard City, not unlike Network City, that had been literally uprooted and launched at the inhabitants from the skies. The single Mega Level Digimon that held it up from its descent into Network City called back its trusty Aegis and Gram, as its face remained focused on the skies, while of course wondering where exactly were the inhabitants of this city were. Flying at sonic speeds once more to the clouds, Gallantmon struck at them several times. As it did, thousands upon thousands of Meteormon fell from the sky, as the Digimon prevented further damage to the city by anymore oncoming meteors aimed their way. This situation was purely chaotic. The powerful Digimon dropped once more from the skies, on purpose this time, landing with a great explosion upon the city, wiping out the Meteormon and Volcanomon that were still attacking the city, not without creating a giant crater as well. It sped throughout the city within a matter of minutes as it helped to evacuate the entire city of those who were left. Returning back to Dianamon, with arms crossed it said with a deep sigh, "Even if the Royal Knights do arrive, I don't think they would be able to stop this," it said, launching a "Final Elysian!" into the hoard of enemy Digimon ahead of them, clearing a path straight south of the city, there were countless more Meteormon charging even after they were blown out of the sky by Gallantmon, and Volcanomon still erupting from all over the city. Gallantmon looked at its enemies with a fierce gaze from afar. Planting its foot firmly on the ground as the Digimon's cape flowed ever so elegantly in this ruin of a city whose destruction came about so quickly, it turned its head to Dianamon once more. "I have a plan," it said still with a positive tone, running at a speed which made it invisible the next moment, accelerating towards the army of Digimon once again with Aegis and Gram in hand.

[Chronomon suddenly roared in frustration and shifted uncomfortably. He had the power to blast most of these attackers into smithereens, but it would cause too much destruction. He shook suddenly when the entire area shook and dangerously trembled, nearly falling over. Down below, Slash Angemon took to the skies as the streets cracked and quaked, still cutting and slicing and dicing as many as he could, sending waves of energy from his blades whenever he could. In the end, though, Omnimon X was still doing more damage than him just because of his sheer aggressive ruthlessness. Seraphimon dangerously dodged a Volcamon's lava and then blasted it away, but knew that things were starting to get hairy. Imperialdramon's strategy had failed, and they were getting pushed back. Seeing as they and the Pseudo-Demons were some of the few defensive fighters, Seraphimon's face fell.
They couldn't save this city.
Lucemon CM had come to the same conclusion. He wished he could digivolve to Satan Form, but he knew that it would cause too much destruction. It was frustrating, to say the least. He twisted in the air and looked over at Lilithmon, who was viciously fighting the onslaught. Her dress was ripped, her skin bloodied. He growled and turned, blasting away a row of Meteormon, and then took a strong meteor right to the gut.
Sophie looked down at her digimon as they struggled and winced. She noticed Dianamon still talking to Gallantmon. "We need to find who's doing this, then, and take them out. That way we can use some of our more destructive allies in the fight, as well." Dianamon suggested. Before she knew it, though, Gallantmon was already gone, traveling like a blur through the battlefield. He had said he'd had a plan. Dianamon looked up at Sophie, still poised on Daemon, with her brow furrowed. The digimon and the girl met eyes, and Sophie knew what Gallantmon had said. Since they were once united, the two had a sort of telepathy. Sophie urged Daemon forward, who turned into a black shroud. He traveled with the shadows, moving at a speed not as fast as Gallantmon's, but fast enough for him to round the city and meet Gallantmon as he traveled. Daemon stopped near the digimon so that Sophie could turn as he passed and yell, "Let us help your plan!" She then cursed and sighed. "How are we going to work together if he's playing Flash over here..." Sophie muttered to herself.
She urged Daemon after Gallantmon again. ]

The Mega Level Digimon ran straight on to the Digimon that were approaching from afar right as it was about to make contact with the first Meteormon, mere millimeters from driving Gram straight through the opposition, Gallantmon did a full 90 degrees angle into the sky, still accelerating at a blinding speed that was no longer able to let any Digimon keep up with it. The powerful Digimon whizzed past all of the city, and as it had kept the citizens safe, it was striking down each and every Digimon that was located in the city. It had wanted the other Digimon to help out in that regard, but knew there could not be anymore time wasted. Each and every Digimon were pinned to the ground and knocked out, and quite a few Volcamons were shoved back into the craters they erupted from. As the speeding bullet of a Digimon whizzed by Dianamon, "Will do now that there's no longer any distractions," as it moved beside Sophie mounted on Daemon, the Digimon replied "Go all out now on these Digimon... although I don't believe they're attacking by their own will. I've been call Hazardous, or Super. Flash? Not so much," it said all while rapidly encircling Daemon and accelerating to a point where not even the keenest Digimon's eyes could keep track of it.
"Now, we strike south!" Gallantmon's voice echoed throughout the ravaged city, to all of the Tamers who were now free of the Digimon they were currently facing, ready to avenge those who had fallen victim to this violent attack. The exact same path in which it cleared beside Dianamon was used once more, this time causing a trail of dust and chunks of earth being ripped apart and scorched by the Digimon flying so close to the ground. By the time the cloud of dust just started to form, it had already wiped out a large amount with several "Final Elysian!" attacks being fired at an incredible speed in a multitude of directions, clearing the start of the horde quickly, yet there were thousands upon thousands more to go, and a thousand down wasn't going to stop this assault on Network City just yet.

[Lucemon and Lilithmon noticed a tamer fighting rather courageously. Lucemon grinned in approval and flew over to the two of them, circling them excitedly. "Good stuff, kid..." Lucemon mused. He gestured back at Gallantmon, once the digimon had stopped long enough to be seen. "Follow his lead. You can follow me, Lilithmon, and Beelzemon if you want, although Beelzemon is flying around somwhere." Lucemon nodded and turned, flying back down his cleared street to the sound, where the horde of digimon were.
Sophie blinked and Daemon grinned, cackling delightedly. "He's got a sense of humor, doesn't he, Sophie?" Daemon asked. Sophie nodded, smiling ever so lightly, and then pushed Daemon onwards to Chronomon. She looked down at him, and his massive head turned up to hers. They made eye contact, and he knew. He could fight now that all the enemies were bunched together. Chronomon Destroyer Mode carefully walked through the rubble of Network City, almost as tall as any building, and finally to the Volcamon and Meteormon. He pointed his cannons downwards at the mob. "HOLY FLARE!" Shouted Chronomon, his voice booming and encompassing. Both cannons crackled to life, energy gathering in the back and light shining down on the mobs. Volcamon were spraying lava all over his lower body, and it was starting to really hurt, but he had to stand stationary to get the cannons to blast.
And so they did. With a sound like a heavenly hammer slamming down on a heavenly anvil, the cannons blasted down into the mobs, obliterating huge circles of Meteormon and Volcamon. Chronomon roared triumphantly and swept his foot in front of him, knocking away the Volcamon that plagued him. He got ready for another attack, still enduring the painful lava from the Volcamon. If he wasn't careful, they would really get to him.
Dianamon focused her rapid-fire Arrows of Artemis attack on the horde indiscriminately. She was started to like Gallantmon, his speed impressing her so. Even for a Royal Knight, he was pretty decent. Imperialdramon commanded from the skies, serving as a general for other tamers as well, instructing them where and how to hit the horde of attackers. He wasn't as good of a leader as, say, Gallantmon, but Gallantmon was preoccupied. Omnimon, Seraphimon, and SlashAngemon were all fighting deep into the horde, as was Beelzemon Blast Mode, who flew over Meteormon heads and shot at them wildly with his guns.
Sophie looked down at the destruction. "Who is doing this...? Could it be the Demon Lords? I know Dax had a run-in with them a long time ago..." She nodded. Yes, Dax did. That was when he had gotten UltimateChaosmon.]

Gallantmon watched as its comrades in arms aided in the decimation of these attacking Digimon. What could be the true source of this attack? Gallantmon kept wondering the same thing as its eyes watched in a different spectrum from any other Digimon or Tamer could ever see, in every sort of vision known to Digimon and human alike. The Mega Digimon could see the ebbing waves of energy surrounding all of the Digimon, with particular hues and shades being present. As it went through the library of knowledge that it had retained with its keen intellect, Gallantmon was able to find a match with the invisible aura that were causing these Digimon to rampage in such a way. "Raging Indigo..." Gallantmon commented as it struck down another group of Digimon with its powerful blast from Gram. It noticed that there was a tactical assault, although scattered, but there was more to it that met the eye.
While Sophie's Digimon kept on their attacks, the numbers were starting to dwindle, as one last wave came, from as far Gallantmon could see, and that could very be from the back of its head around the Digital World, but that is remained to be proven. As the last line of attack marched in, Gallantmon went ahead first, leading the strike, as it signaled to the other Digimon that were located in the area to cease fire. Flying over the swarm of countless Meteormon and Volcamon, it used "Freeze Breath!" astoundingly, which was a move no Gallantmon could use. The entirety of the attacking Digimon were all frozen solid, and the liquidation of the moisture in the Digital World was also utilized in order to connect all of them together in one large massive frozen army. Gallantmon held a Meteormon and Volcamon by their frozen head on one corner of the army where they stood, and with the slightest of ease, lifted each and every single Digimon off the ground that it had frozen. Gallantmon had a code of not destroying Digimon unless it is truly required, as it knew that if it did so, perhaps these Digimon would be free from the rage that was controlling them. As it tossed the army of Digimon effortlessly into the air, it announced in a solemn tone, "Final Elysian!" as it blasted the army from the inside out, as water rained down from the strike, with only the two Digimon it used to carry were kept intact for this heroic Digimon to inspect closely. As it held the Ultimate Level Digimon in with each of its hands, it managed to get a closer look to confirm its analysis.
The next second, from one moment standing with the two remaining Digimon at the front lines, Gallantmon was holding the two aloft right next to Sophie and Daemon. "I'm glad you enjoy my sense of humor," it commented to Daemon, revealing that it had heard Daemon from such a far distance away. "These Digimon are in fact seemingly enraged by a powerful Digimon, the power that courses through them would nearly cause them to explode if they do not attack and embrace the evil that was grown into them," it commented as the two Digimon attempted to struggle to no avail. The Mega Digimon's eyes widened, as it immediately spun in the air and launched the two remaining Digimon back into the front lines. "Observe. Without them having those few moments to attack, their bodies were unable to contain the power that is constantly coursing through them, and now must Digivolve...," it commented as Meteromon Digivolved into AncientVolcamon, and Volcamon into PileVolcamon. Their size however, was greatly expanded upon becoming Mega Level Digimon, and were towering taller than some of the tallest buildings in Network City. Gallantmon was not wanting to jump to conclusions, keeping it's thought of the Demon Lords appearing again to itself, as a portal opened from right above the two Digimon, and a blur appeared from the distance. "It is quite funny how you said its name," Gallantmon commented to Sophie as the crimson caped Digimon watched on.
"Royal Slash!" Duftmon resounded through the air is its Sword of Destruction struck down AncientVolcamon in its place. The Mega Digimon seemed to react savagely, even as it was defeated in enmity towards the Royal Knight Digimon that had appeared before them. "Now, we shall not waste anymore time, let us haste!" Duftmon exclaimed, addressing the Tamers from afar in its powerful voice. "The Demon Lord Digimon are responsible for this atrocious assault on this city, and we must prepare for the next movement in their plans, ahead of them, however as that is key to our victory," the Digimon explained in a moderate pace, as the PileVolcamon watched the Royal Knight take down the large AncientVolcamon that was beside it.
Suddenly, the blur that Gallantmon had viewed from afar went on a guided path across the land aimed right at PileVolcamon. The blur dashed right through the Digimon several times, apparently not even touching the Digimon, as the streaks that were given off by the movement of it appeared almost like a tornado of sorts. Finally, the blur ran right up to Dianamon, as the PileVolcamon exploded once it had done so. There before the Digimon stood a Rinkmon, standing rather casually among the destruction of the metropolis of a city Network City once had been. "Accelerated data, always gets the slow Digimon down and out," Rinkmon commented to Dianamon speedily and talking in a rather fast manner, even quicker than Duftmon did, observing the Digimon in the area for a moment, "Sorry, thought you looked like someone I knew," it said as it distanced itself slightly, then looking into the sky at Gallantmon. "Sorry for being so late, being the Flash and all... still quickest Digimon from the Digital World!" shouting from afar with a big smile, and loud enough for Sophie to hear.
