[1]Use proper English:
Try to be as literate as you possibly can with your posts. We all make mistakes every once in a while, but at least try to have the decency to accept and fix your mistakes.
[2]Make use of proper Etiquette:
Try to be nice and understanding of other members and users, don't discriminate other users because they have different opinions or do things in a different way.
[3]Don't make more than one thread about a certain topic:
Before you make a new thread look if there are any other threads with similar a topic, this is only acceptable if two threads have similar topic titles, but have to do with two completely different things.
*NOTE:If there is an official thread on a given topic, you may not post any other threads about that certain topic.
[4]Use the Official Threads:
Before you post a thread about a certain game, check if there is an Official thread about that game and post there instead. This is to keep the Forum organized and tidy, that people can get around easier and there is much less searching.
[5]Do not Make "Vs." or "Come here for Help" Threads:
Do not make threads trying to help people instead post on the Official threads or "I need Help" threads. That way is a lot easier to help those in need of advice and the forum is a lot less cluttered. Also do not make threads matching two characters or games against one another, if want to make such a thread post it in the Video Game Discussion forum.
[6]Do not insult, or speak badly about Microsoft, Sony, etc.
This forum is solely for the discussion of Nintendo related topics, there is no need to insult or speak badly about its competitors and rivals. You may not like all companies equally, but do not post about them here.
[7]Do not Bump:
If you made a Thread and it fell to the bottom of the forum without being noticed, then you probably did not make an attractive enough title or people did not like the topic, regardless of the reason if a thread has been pushed down, then its time has come.
[8]Do not double post:
Double posting is the act of posting in the same thread twice in a row, this act should not be performed within this forum. If you post and you feel you forgot something you can add to your previous post by editing it.
[9]Do not Necro:
This means do not go in an old thread and bring it back to the first page. If a topic is not in the first few pages do not post in it, the discussion has probably long since died and it might confuse other members.
