Hi, I'm An. Like everyone else, I started to learn Japanese because of Animes. I know how to read and write Hiragana. I can only understand little Japanese conversations. I'm not a fluent speaker.
Of all the languages I've basically learned, Japanese is the most fun of all languages to learn. I don't know why.

Konnichiwa!!! Im xXJadeTheifXx though u can call me Jade. I became intrested in Japanese language when i read my first manga. that was about 3 years ago. I'm 13 and i recently found out that my dad's cousin's wife in from Japanese decent and ive been asking her about words i do not know.

I would heart if some one could teach me how to write Katakana. That is my quest right now.

As I've just introduced, I'm Stasi-Berri. I've been trying to learn Japanese on my own since May of last year. I've made very little progress due to the fact that in addition to actually seeing lessons, there is no one to practice with.

My interest did stem from watching anime and reading manga. It also expanded when I started listening to Japanese music and watching Japanese dramas.

My main purpose in this guild is to further my knowledge, find some good friends to speak Japanese with, and maybe meet someone who is Japanese. :3

sweatdrop That's all I got. Nice to meet you all. Since I'm not very good at Japanese, that little introduction was all I could muster up with my knowledge. My name is actually Eric Lin (I'm Chinese), I simply pronounce the Japanese version of my last name as I find it sounds better than Eriku Rin （L's->R's) 3nodding . I've been trying to learn Japanese by myself through google, youtube, people on forums for about 2 and a half weeks now simply because I'm impatient and want to translate my own manga. However, my progress has slowed down once I learned Katakana and Hiragana and ran into the big foul beast known as Kanji. My vocabulary is currently very small but according to a certain organization's curriculum (AITAS http://www.aitas.ca/level.html) I am currently at a Entry Level-Elementary Japanese. Anyways, nice to meet you all! Please feel free to correct my mistakes if I made any thank you!
