I thought it would be one of those Disney movies that would make me walk out of the room. So far, everyone seems to like it, so I might go and see it.

I heard pretty good things from other people that watched it, and it looks fairly funny in the physical humor category.

I actually might go see it.

For a movie so horribly cheesy that I had to actually look away a few times, it really wasn't half as bad I though it would be. It's not that great a flick, but it did keep my interest.. well most of the time anyway.

I didn't think there was anything homosexual about the movie at all.

I had been waiting to see this movie since I heard about it in 2005-2006. I could not believe it, Disney was going back to traditional animation after the shock release that it had quite it forever. So I waited patiently and finally after many attempts (sold out twice when I went to see it) I saw it on the third attempt. The animation at the beginning was so breathtaking. I was stunned and speechless and I remained so for the entire film. My everest high expectations of this movie were not let down for a second, the whole film just hummed with a glittering perfection. A truly touching and heartwarming homage to 75 years of pure brilliance. A movie I could watch everyday for the rest of my life and remain satisfied.

watarrmelonz -- I wouldn't call it going back to traditional animation...more going back to traditional musical.
Since so little was in animation, I don't really consider it such.

Then again, there were far less songs than I would have hoped. crying

It was still absolutely amazing, though. Fantastic and fantastical.<3
I love all of the songs that were in it! ^__^x

Also, let me express my surprise that Idina Menzel didn't sing. o___o;;
I'm not her biggest fan...but that's what she does...she sings! xD!!
And same goes to Susan Surandon. She sings as well...and she was in the cartoon world...and she doesn't sing in the movie!

...there will be a show tonight. domokun

Well yes, I do agree, very little of it was traditional animation, but I think it a great thing all the same, as they said they were never going to do another traditional animation in their films. And in the early planning days the movie was going to have 3D animation at the beginning, I shudder to think. But the huge success of this movie has defiantly made Disney see that there is still a market for traditional animation movies where before they had lost that faith. So yay, bring on the Princess and the Frog!

And I so agree. How could they do a homage to their movies without having a villain song? I mean, right there, when she's walking across the crossing, shooting magic everywhere, it would have been perfect and natural to slip in a song for the evil queen. And Nancy should have sung too. If Giselle can go on a date, Nancy can sing a few notes for her true love.

I know!
I expect the villain song to be in the deleted scenes.
Because it was such a great opportunity.
Maybe they didn't want her to have the best song.
Because it's all-but-proven...villains get the best song in Disney musicals. Always.
Even Jafar's song was the best...and he only got a reprise! xD
Mmm...Jonathon Freeman's voice = <3

I think you are right about that. Ratigan had the best song, Ursula had the best song, Scar, Cruella had the best song about her. The scrapped song of Yzma from Emperors New Groove. But I think it's a fun trend and part of their history so they should have paid homage to it regardless. And Idina, they had written a duet for them I believe, but then scrapped it, and it was called Enchanted, which is so sweet because their love was always in the background to Giselle and Robert.
