I'm new to DA. About a month old.

I havn't gotten much commenting yet for my wonderful art work.

Well, no offence, but the reason i think you don't get that many hits is that you're not conforming to the popuar drawing or artistic Anime Method.

Yes. The anime style is very popular within blog/forum sites.

Different is good. It is what changes the eye's of cliche's and turns them
into and toward a perspective of richness and creative style.

I dont care much about the popularity. As long as people can just glimps through my art and enjoy it that is good enough for me.

yes! My pictures are pretty. Some of the style I get as inspiration is from The yu yu from Adam Phillips alongwith my own of course. ^_^
