About Vieno: This gentle and kind mare is often found around the clearing, doing anything from eating to sleeping. It wouldn't be surprising if she was doing something that benefited others rather than herself. Vieno feels like the world is nothing with out a little kindness and would willingly give up everything for a friend. Caring, and open minded, this mare tries her hardest to put herself in everyone else's shoes, knowing that they've often been through harder things than she herself. This thought in mind, Vieno wakes up every morning with an optimistic approach to life, knowing that even the most innocent pessimistic thought could ruin a potentially perfect day.
Her past is something she clearly doesn't talk about, and something tells people it wasn't all that pleasant. At times, her head will lower and her brown eyes will give off a distant look, but nobody seems to know why this mood swing occurs. Whatever it was that happened doesn't bother Vieno much, or at least she acts like it doesn't, for soon afterwards she's back to her happy, smiling, self again! The ribbon and feathers behind her ear are perhaps from her unspoken past, but nobody has ever heard tell of where the ornament came from!
When all's said and done, Vieno's a character that tries to stay pleasant in even the most trying of times! About Yolk: Child-like is an easy way to describe this mare. Curious about anything and everything in her path, Yolk loves to stick her nose into things... literally! This silly Soquili loves to stop to smell the flowers and take the time to enjoy life. She has a fondness for things yellow in color, be it buttercups, butterflies or even sand! She enjoys admiring the color and it could definitely be named her favourite. But, as it's been said, curiousity killed the cat and often gets this troublesome girl in to trouble!
Some Soquili find this one to be a little strange because it seems that she's always... happy! ...and overly so! Yolk won't let anything get her down and can often be seen trotting about the field, head held high while she hums her favourite tunes. Not rain, sleet, nor a sting from a bee can get this child at heart down. Although, this can sometimes be her biggest downfall for she's often considered naive. Truth be told, Yolk is quite naive, she does a lot of things simply because she doesn't know any better. It's also quite easy to lie to her because she believes the world's filled with happiness and rainbows.
In conclusion, Yolk's certainly not hard to get along with... if you have quite a bit of patience. She may try your nerves at times but if you stick around you'll definitely have a loyal and loving friend for life.RP Logs

About Andor: Broken in many ways, one of them being spirit, this stallion isn't much of a character. Weak, always tired with eyes that never sparkle, this poor uni is a disgrace to the rare breed. No longer blessed with magical healing powers, it's a surprise this uni is considered a unicorn at all. In fact, if it weren't for his broken horn, cloven feet and lion's tail, he would have been recognized as a normal Soquili. Feeling degraded and sorry for himself is what Andor does best, although a lot of the time he doesn't even have the energy for that.
Humans seem to be this stallion's worst nightmare, for he can hear them before they come close and disappears before they do. He always manages to stay far away from the villiage, not wanting to wake up to an unexpected encounter. Andor isn't too great with other animals either, he normally keeps his distance and does whatever he can to keep from making conversation. Why? Nobody really knows, but it's probably safe to say that the stallion feels like a worthless nobody that no longer has a place in this world. Luckily for him, this stallion doesn't believe in things like suicide or death for convenience.
Often, the wrong impression is given, for Andor isn't mean or heartless, no... quite the opposite. Deep down the stallion has a heart of gold, open to anyone in trouble or need. The only problem is, this emotion is covered up by so many others that the stallion doesn't know who he is anymore. Confused, broken or even a wreck are several good ways to explain this sad soul. The mystery is how he got to be this way, because he certainly wasn't always distant and heavily guarded...

About Shade: Tormented by his own thoughts and worries makes poor Shade very reserved. As a foal he couldn't understand why his parents had wings and he didn't, thinking someone lied to him he adopted Everhart, his brother, as his father. Things were better after he'd convinced himself his father was truly Everhart but his heart often shattered when his brother denied being his true father. As a foal, he didn't quite understand where he belonged and the world confused him. Perhaps these are some of the reasons Shade is so shy and distant today.
Aside from that fact, Shade has a heart of gold, he thinks everybody in the world deserves to be happy and will stop at nothing to help someone. He's loyal to his friends and respectful of strangers, this stallion only wants the world to be a peaceful and happy place. Though Shade likes to help anything and anyone he can be cautious, he'd have less of an urge to help a kalona or skinwalker than someone seemingly less dangerous. He's intelligent and avoids bad scenes the best he can, so he wouldn't be caught hanging around a skinwalker's turf. Lucky for Shade, he rarely socializes with anyone so he's not faced with tough decisions regardless.
Shy little Shade won't be caught dead speaking to someone who doesn't attempt a conversation first. A lot of the time he's afraid he might be butting in or forcing himself on someone's free time! Even though this stallion keeps to himself, it doesn't mean he's grumpy. Loveable and cuddly are two words that describe Shade, the only problem is... getting him to that point. It'll take him awhile to warm up to you but in the end it'll be worth it. Shade's family life confuses him, he loves his family and extended family dearly but he still doesn't quite understand. Are he and his brother outcasts or mix ups? Deep down, this young stallion feels as if his basket was mixed up at birth but he won't let anyone know this. Until he finds out what really happened, he vows to love his family as much as he'd love anyone else.

About Shai: Nobody's perfect and nobody comes close to it, in fact nobody is even remotely okay in Shai's mind. She can pick out any flaw before she even hears you speak and don't think she's going to keep it to herself. Insulting doesn't even begin to describe this mare, she likes to pick at anything she can, making even the most arrogant and conceited Soquili feel like they're worthless. The reason behind Shai's horrible attitude is not yet known, whether she's a selfish being who likes to hurt or has a low self esteem herself is the question.
Shai's favourite form is that of the size of a butterfly, even though she can't hold this form for as long as she'd like, forever, she stays in it most of the time. Being the size of an insect enables her to get away quickly without anyone noticing where she went. The poor mare isn't very patient and often takes off when something gets on her nerves. Easy to frustrate she is so don't be too surprised if she lands on you and starts stomping her hooves in a temper tantrum. It would seem this mare is something like a grade school bully, wanting only to torture those who let her.
The real question is whether or not Shai has a heart beneath all her horrible insults. Is there a reason she thinks the world is filled with worthless beings? Will her heart someday be warmed? Nobody's been able to get past her insults and cold attitude thus far, perhaps it's a hopeless cause...RP Logs

About Ilieria: Often found staring out across the lake to watch the water, Ilieria is one of the least threatening Soquili you could come across. Although she seems young, she's wise beyond her years and many of her friends come to her for advice. Sadly, because of this many think she's quite a bit older than she really is and it often hurts the mare's feelings. Not that she'd ever let that show, this mare is very careful about showing her emotions, for she wouldn't ever want to upset anybody.
A big believer in life, Ilieria thinks all is sacred and should be treated with decency. Nobody is better than anyone else in her mind, every being in the world has great value and is appreciated someplace. Lucky for her, she's not naive and knows how to appreciate things from afar, the evils of the world such as skinwalkers and kalonas have their own value and should be appreciated but they didn't often think in the same was as her. Often enough she prayed for these creatures, wishing them well in their lives, hoping they fulfil their duties and don't cause much pain. Though, she does realize the world needs a little punishment and evil to keep it turning, she hopes someday a more peaceful era would begin. Not to say she wasn't happy in this one, Ilieria was quite content with everything she had.
Patience is a virtue and this mare has lots of it for she could wait for the world to stop turning if she really needed to. At times she just smiles and listens to others, the wheels of her mind turning as she finds a solution for the problems she faces. Conflict and arguments aren't necessary in her mind, although she'd never force her opinions on somebody else. Everything can be solved through some form of communication and violence is never the answer. Simple or complicated, Ilieria likes to take time to think things through before approaching any problem. Perhaps this is why the mare always has a calculating expression on her face, strain free and content, yet thoughtful and far away...
