The town of Klarm is located near the Dark Forest, lately, villagers have gone missing in the night, and rumor has it that the local cemetary has been dug up and many bodies unearthed and removed. The local magistrate has called on all able bodied adventurers to come and discover the cause behind this.

DM Note: Your characters have never met each other before, you will be in the city. Everyone has been given 50 gold for answering the call, and will be given 500g each upon completion of the task.

He makes it into the town looking around for the notice. "I wonder where we are meeting here." He continues to walk looking for a sign.

Sable is approached by two guards, as he enters town,

"Oy there you!" One yells, "You here t' answer t' magistrate's call fer help? Yeh have t' look of an adventurer m'lad..."

"Dun' hastle 'im t' much Ralla, dun' mind him lad, we dun' get many ootsiders here... Follow us if yeh like, we need t' head tha' ways anyway..." The second guard said,

Ciarra Adare was charged 5 gold, 14 silver, and 57 Copper for the supplies...

"M'lady, can I help you with anything else?" The shopkeep asked, bowing profusely... "Poisons, Potions, and a few magical trinkets here and there..."

"I admit I am rather new to the adventure thing but I assureyou I do not lack in experinece." He looked over the two guards for a second. "I intend to." He begun to follow the guards and looked around at the peaceful as he walked.

*smiles, says she'll come back if she needs anything else and thanks shopkeeper.

Ciarra is now in the main street, from behind her, the sound of someone knocking over a bunch of objects... A thief jumps out from behind a pile of garbage, drawing a dagger.

"Your money or your life!" He shouts, pointing the weapon at her.

DM Notes: The thief is 15 feet away from Ciarra. Rolled 19 on encounter check.



Sable was escorted to the magistrate's office, where he sat waiting with several other vegabonds, mercinaries, and adventurers, all of whom were itching for a piece of the action and had arrived early...

The room is 35 feet wide, and 80 feet long, with a fireplace in the far end. Thick inset windows feature prominantly on the walls, a large oak table with silverware is set for the adventurers. Wine is being served in miniscule amounts.

Sitting in an old chair across from the fire he watches it blaze and observes his surroundings. When offered wine he kindly declines. Seeing everyone so care free bothered him. He waited his turn to meet with the magistarte quietly.

Noting that the thief SUCKS at keeping quiet and is not putting a kinfe against her neck at the moment, Ciarra definately stands her ground, prepared to fight.

The Thief lunges forward to strike, but was a little overcomfident, he misses Ciarra by a mile. (Fails AC Check with 6)

Ciarra's aim is straght and true, whacking the theif in the side for 4 damage. (Pass AC check with 1 cool (Rolled 4 Damage)

"The magistrate has asked me to inform you all that he shall be late, he was waylaid by the council of nobles, and will be on his way when he can... In the meanwhile, I would ask that you all sit back and relax..." The servent said.

Feeling more confident, Ciarra swings with the other end of her staff at the thief, also making sure that the thief doesn't get close enough to steal any money

"Well I'm not gonna sit around her all day waiting. I'm taking a strole. I'm sure that I will be aware when the magistrate has returned" He get's up from his chair and proceeds to walk out the door. Maybe we will be able to find something to liven up his long, boring day.

The Thief recovers from the blow quickly, striking again, this time his aim was true, and slashed Ciarra in the arm for 2 damage. (Rolled 15, passing AC) (Rolled 2)

Ciarra strikes back, clubbing him over the head for 3 Damage. The thief keels over dead, his dagger clatters from his hand as he slumps down against the wall. (Rolled 17, passing AC) (Rolled 3)
