The Forbidden Kingdom

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Today, my brother took my sister, his friend, himself and I to go see Jet Li's and Jackie Chan's new movie, The Forbidden Kingdom.
I personally enjoyed the movie, a lot. It was very well done, very well played and even though it had some corny parts (like all morden day movies do anymore) I really think it worth the 2 hours of sitting in a crammed theatre for.

I thought the movie was really cute. Jackie Chan was naturally hilarious. But the nerdy white boy stereotype is getting overplayed in movies in general and they really changed the legend of the monkey around.

It was very silly. I loved the self parody and in jokes referring to other martial arts films, but it is definitely total fluff.

I enjoyed this movie as well. It seemed a little corny, but it's fun to have some light fluffy fun in movies sometimes. I didn't much care for Jet Li movies before this one, but I liked it. Yay for movies about the Monkey King!
