Storyline
Come join the town of Burkenveld! Its a beautiful small town that is located within the dark gloomy, haunted woods. Despite its eerieness it has friendly, interesting, and mysterious people all about. You are warmly welcomed! Although, you must watch your head! For thier is rumor to be a headless horseman that rides about the town, chopping off the heads of whom ever he can claim. Will you try your chances?

RULES

- The headless horseman isnt played by anyone in particular. Use your imagination.
- This is based in the old times where ladies wore nothing but puffy dresses and curly hair, while men whore fancy stuff. There is no technology whats so ever!
- You are allowed to play more then 1 character. The maximum characters is 3.
- This rp will be extremely violent and full of as much gore as you can imagine...cmon its a guy who rides around town cutting heads off...
-If the horseman gets you then your character is dead, period. No coming back to life or reviving. No godmodding. But you can make another character.
- Pm me your profiles. Name the pm "Socks."
- I will have a Deadly departed list of whoever dies. I will mark dead on any characters that are dead. Everyone dead is in the graveyard of course.
- Love is encouraged but dont get nasty. Nobody wants that..but kissing, hugging, ect. (except sex) is allowed.

Lena was walking to the pub to help her dad out. She didnt like working there because the drunk men would hit on her but she had to help out. "Another day."she said to herself. People would talk about the headless horseman but she only seen him twice. She wondered if he was going to show again.

The azure moonlight seemed to be the only bright light in the town, except for the pub, and a few candels lit at the outhouses. The pub was the only open place in the community that was open for drunks 'til morning hours. Most neighbors were sound asleep in thier warm, cozy houses in the middle of the cold night. Fog formed every night at the same hour it seemed, midnight. Midnight....the hour of darkness for everyone. Until three o'clock, the evil hour creeped up upon everyones backs and down came the demons of the night. One particular rode this full moon night and was looking for fresh blood to shed.

Eric couldnt seem to sleep this night. The fire kept on going out and he was too tired to get up and re-do it for the third time. He lay in bed quietly, the only sounds were the breathing of his small sister and the crickets playing thier melodies. He stare up at the moon, its beauty seemed to shine and give off an eerie fog in his imagination. He sighed and rolled over.

Neon patrolled the streets of the town looking into the alleys and watching for the headless horseman. The pub was always open and sometimes people got frisky there. Neon spent most of his time by there and sometimes in there.

Eric had finally gotten up to an hour of shut eye when suddenly he heard the odd sound of hooves riding fiercly through the dark forest it sounded like. He started to doze again but snapped out of his dream world. If someone is riding through the forest that fast then there must be something wrong. he thought to himself. He crept out of his bed, making sure not to wake his sister. He crammed his feet into his boots and walked outside with them untied.

THe usual foggy night had gotten chillier. Eric hugged himself, rubbing his arms for warmth. The hooves hadnt stopped thier fast pace and seemed like they were getting closer by the second. Eric curiously walked out to the front gate and glanced back and forth either ways of the dirt road, but saw nothing. He looked over to the forest and saw no signs of life, or light within it. "Hmmm....." he sighed to himself and was just going to turn back into the house. Until he froze when the sight of a giant black horse came out of the dark forest depths as if it were running from the devil himself. Upon the horses back was a man with a flowing black cloak and all of his garments seemed to blend in with the darkness. Though, there was something odd about him other than his demon dark clothing, and his giant monstrous horse, but also that his head seemed to be completely missing. Eric got hold of himself and dashed back into the house. He ran up to his bedroom and carried his sister off the bed and took her with him to hide in his closet.

Lena sighed as she walked into the pub. She greeted her dad as she went to the bar to get the beers and wait to the people in the pub. As she was waiting to the tables a couple of regulars started to fight. She ran to the wall and grabbed the shot gun, cocked it and fired it up and the ceiling. "Want to fight...take it outside and settle it." she yelled as she put the gun down Drunken idiotsshe thought waiting for the night to be over

The ruff sound of the hooves passed by Erics house. It crunched the dirt under its hooves as it furried by. Eric shut his eyes when he heard the hooves closer then he expected. A few minutes passed on and a loud sudden shriek could be heard on his street.

The screams from the village scared Lena and she dropped alcohol. She ran to her dad "Daddy is-is it him?"she said scared. Her dad shook his head and held her tight. The headless horseman rode past the pub. Lena looked up as he went by. Her eyes widened from the sight she was. She seen him twice but never this close. "He-he's real...."

"He's real...." Eric whispered to himself, still holding his sister tightly in the closet. She was already awake by the loud scream from earlier. "Brother...what was that?.." she asked in a tired tone. "I....ill tell you later. Just...go to moms room." he told her and opened the closet door for her and she ran out to mothers room. Eric walked to the window to make sure everything was safe. When not a mouse moved he tied up his boots, and grabbed his jacket. He headed outside.

Eric stood in the middle of the dirt road, all the neighbors awaken from the thier slumbers and stepping slowly out of thier houses. A few people at the front porch of a house were sobbing. Others just gathered around and a carraige pulled up in front. Eric walked closer and blended in with the crowd as a few people walked out with a coffin a few minutes later and went off with it to the cemetary. "Another one..." said an old man outloud. Just then the gossip started.

Lena ran out. To see what happened. She noticed the coffin and people gathered around the carriage. She looked over and saw a boy [[eric]] Never saw him before...but then again...i have no life she kept staring. He looked kind of mysterious in her eyes at least.

Eric squeezed through the crowd. He was still slightly shivering from what he just saw. He couldnt believe it. He had never seen the horseman before, although he heard stories about it all the time in town. He gulped at the thought of him might being the next victim. He stood still and took a deep breath once out of the crowd. I think i need a walk... he decided. When he looked up he saw an attractive young girl, his age it looked like, standing a bit away from him. He blushed after noticing she was looking back at him and looked away. Trying not to hold her gaze he stepped away and started his own little strole down the road.

Lena noticed the boy look at her and she started to blush. She saw him walk away, she wanted to follow but her dad called her back into the pub. She smiled and went inside. Her dad told her to clean up because they were going to close early. She started to clean up. I wonder whose going to be next

Eric walked down the road slowly, noticing the girl walk into the pub after the owner called her in. That must be his daughter then...he smiled and walked on through the roads. He took a seat on the curb and put his head down in his hands. Why cant i sleep? he thought to himself. This was going to be a long night.

Neon patrolled near the pub and stopped to people from fighting. then he heard the hoofs. he heard the shreik and he knew it was HIM. he raced towards the sound only to see people takeing another coffin to the cemetery. "AUGH!!" He yelled "Why! Another" He yelled. Why cant i get him? Neon wondered. He walked to the pub and got a drink.
