Here's a new project I've been working on.
I'm planning on drawing as many of the greek gods as I can, as teens.
The first one I finnished is Ares, God of War.
Please tell me what you think, and maybe what I need to work on.

sweatdrop not to be harsh or anything but i think he could use some more "build" he looks too scrawny to be THE God of War and you could also make him look less innocent i guess nd give him a look that shows he's not afraid to kill nd start wars .. u kno?
And for Gods in general you have to focus on them looking powerful and wise I'd think .. Good luck! C:

Yeah I've been trying to work on the muscle aspect of anatomy, though I've been having a bit of difficulties with it.
Though, (I so should have remembered to put this in the description. sweatdrop ) I'm trying to make the gods look like teens. so the innocent thing kinda works, though I should've probably toned it down a bit on ares.

oh i get it! it's as if they were the teenage sons and daughters of the Gods nd Goddesses .. (i have a lot of trouble with muscle too they always come out lookin boxy =P)

^^ lol I think you got a bit mixed up. It's the gods/goddesses as teens lol, not their kids. easy mistake though.
And thanks a ton for the... umm... orange lines? lol.
The color discoloration happens on my friends comp all the time it's kinda funny to hear it happens to others too. rofl

The hand was a little off on the knee. Also, the belt, I was assuming it was gold right, so I thought it shouldn't look so cloth-like. Anyway, I drew where the muscles generally go, but I don't usually do a bunch of muscles so they aren't really detailed. Also, I know this is an irritation for some people (like my friend), but your guy does not have any nipples. I know it's probably embarrassing to draw them in or whatever, but they should still be there. Even if they're only circles. The legs are also too thin and too short, and they're pointed in the wrong direction or something (in accordance with the body).
