WOW... okay, so simple question... what do you like about anime's and manga's?
i like all the supernatural ones... and particularly when they based around high schools.. yes i do realise that's all of them (majority) .. but there is actually some that do not base themselves around schools and have teenage characters in them.. yes... i kow... i read and watch too much.
haha, anyhows.. i love all the romance ones.. and the action one.. especially the ones that have alot of oriental influences, like in character design and basically teh whole thing is set in Japan! haha
Okies.. well all my fav's are listed right in the middle of my profile, so go check it out, and leave a comment..
but tell me what you like about Anime and Manga... and what sort of ones you prefer to watch and read!?!?

I love the art, the random yet awesome personalities of the different characters, and how some manga and anime can be very moving, and ever so slightly inspirational. Also some of the fantasy that can be involved in it, as well as how you can just be able to compare the scenarios to reality. Does it sound like I'm being too professional or have many big words in this? I think so. I just lovez everything about it! whether it may sometimes be pervy or funny or even a tad saddening, and I love the love stories and some of the fight scenes and how it can affect teh characters in the story. I love it all! I also like the settings, and how I can even learn some about Japan in it(since I live in the US).
I mainly like to read romance (pretty much most shoujo manga)and fantasy manga, and watch shonen and fantasy anime, though there are some exceptions. I also really have gotten into Code Geass lately, and continue to watch Bleach and Death Note since I have yet to reach the ending.
I still hold Fruits Basket high on my list of manga, but I recently finished Hana Kimi, Chrono Chrusade, Absolute Boyfriend, and even Ichigo 100%(heheh, I had started out just trying it out, then I got addicted, even if it is very pervy...). I love 'em all. Once I get going about all the manga and anime I like, I don't know if I can stop... xp

I like romance, comedy, shoujo, and school life. Usually, that is. Sometimes, I find supernaturals interesting too.. o__o like vampires. For some reason... I just like the sad parts in romance stories, like when the couples break up.. for a while. lol. I mean.. if nothing happens at all, it wouldn't be fun, right? So yeah, I guess.
I watched 10 eps of Special A today. I'm still an anime addict after 5 years! Haha.
I have a lot of fave anime and manga... I've watched more than 70 anime now. o_o I started reading manga this year, but got addicted too. Y_Y I've read more than 30, I'm sure. xD

Wow... that's alot...
I only started reading manga and watching anime(and know it was anime) two years ago(wow, it's been that long already... time flies...) and I got addicted right away.
I've read about 29 various manga(wow, less than you, twice the time) and watched a few different anime(probably only 7-10 different ones... I don't have that many opportunities to do so though).

True, and I'm having trouble keeping the balance between reading manga online and being on gaia and other sites. (I'm reading manga most first, gaia second, other sites third.) The rest of the time I'm either off diving, playing video games, or doing random jobs for my parents to make extra money towards video games and manga.

that's cool~ i like comedy too. well, im not totally a mecha fan..but i like gundam seed & destiny... code geass looks nice too. i watched a couple of eps that my bro was watching.

I like the romance and the comedy. Its better than an actual book where after every dialogue its always she said he said. thats BORING.

I like action types to be in anime form.
I just think that the action is easier to understand when it is like that.
