these are some of the most disturbing, downright scary movies I've ever seen
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari- a silent film.

I really recommend these movies, particularly watched in the dark twisted

Ah, a gem from the 1920's.

I has problems watching this alone, but in all fairness I'm a wuss.

ninja For the benefit of Mr. Kite...

Nosferatu still remains one of the best movies ever made. It's a little hokey, but when he rises from the coffin, it still freaks me out a bit! And can someone please explain to me how Wizard of Oz can remain one of the best special effects movies ever, even compared to some stuff that comes out now? I'm pretty sure that someone developed a time machine to make Wizard of Oz.<3

I haven't seen those movies, but I've been trying to find some more really old classics to watch, so I'll have to put them on my to-watch list!

...there will be a show tonight. domokun

If we are talking very old... meaning silent... then horror and comedy were the two genres that flourished. Charlie Chaplin had the comedy part covered... I'd advise watching most of his work... I am trying to find The Great Dictator though... the death of the tramp... shows how aware Chaplin was to the world around him. For horror two of my favorite silent movies were and always have been Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr Caligari. I find Nosferatus shadow is more terrifying then himself... and Cesare still gives me the creeps every time I watch it

ninja Got a brand new shipment of electrical equipment...

Charlie Chaplin is one of the greatest actors ever. I liked Modern Times the best. ='3
