Mama Mia?!? o-O

Does anybody think it should be an "inspiring" movie?
It's about a girl who's mother was a slut? has three different dads?
Don't get it. I haven't seen it. But i think it's always fair to put your opinion based on previews & commercials for a movie.

I totally agree with the criticism on the idea though. I know a bunch of people who don't know their dads, its really not a happy funny thing like the movie comes off to be. Its not a horrible thing, but I don't like that they try to make light of it.

I haven't seen it, and this is why I'm not going too.

I loved Mama Mia! Yea the story was kinda like "Wow... She's a slut" but I loved the performances. I also absolutely love ABBA so I guess that just made it 10 times more amazing to me

I kind of want to see it, Just because I love ABBA and Maryl Streep but the actual movie didnt really peak my interest. Nor did it look to good. So I think I'll just wait until it comes out on dvd.

Since I've seen Chicago my standards for Musicals have risen. rofl

Meh I saw the musical for my birthday a few years back. It was alright, nice story, but I was never really a fan of ABBA so I don't think I'll be going to see the movie anytime soon. Besides I feel kinda special being one of the millions of folks that saw in the theatre instead theater. x3

It was an awesome movie....it threw me off though...Seeing James Bond (Pierce Brosnan, I just think of James Bond when I see him)....in Spandex....and sparkles...singing...and dancing....>.< So threw me off. But it was actually a really good movie.
