With the exception of a small percent of fees received from Community Service Fines, any thread containing fines are expressly for the purpose, at the owner's discretion, to fund prizes in said games and do not fund contests sponsored by the GUILD.

Games that have not been played for awhile will be locked up. If for some reason you want to see a game unlocked so you can play again, please post a request in this thread.

Guild Funds ~ How do they work?

Geezers Guild currently has about 400k in "Guild" funds ~ these are the funds the guild system Gaia created holds in store when you donate to the guild by clicking the button at the bottom of the Guild Home Page.

Captains cannot remove funds from the guilds. These funds are held in Gaia's guild system to purchase items that Gaia has set up for Guilds. Currently, the guild system only has one (1) item that Captains can purchase: Sub-Forums. Sub-forums cost 2.5k each.

All funding for Guild Prizes are donated by members to either a captain, a guild mule (owned and operated by a body, usually the captain or crew member), or are sent to the winner of a contest by one of the guild members. In the case of the Geezers Guild, the majority of funds donated to our Golden Mule were sent by the Captain.
