This has got to be one of the ONLY pictures that I haven't ruined by coloring, and I' love to hear some comments about what you all think 'bout it ^_^
The colored picture doesn't have a lot of shading.

Gee,I wonder who that is? xd

Well, I like them both very much, and as I've told you, expecially the eyes!
However, I think I have a little idea that might help you feel more satisfyed with your corolored images: I think you should color the lines a darker shade of the color inside. You know what I mean? Maybe it'll make your images more difined.

Aw, I really did like it. I added bot versions twice on my random images siggy just so it'll appear more often, mhm.

What did you use to color it? Did you color it on the computer? If so, then you should just go all out when you do coloring. Just save your lineart and then color on a copy or something. Use all the buttons and features. It's a lot of fun, and it usually pays off 'cause you learn better ways of coloring. Anyway, I know you said there isn't much shading but because of that it's kinda flat. Maybe a little more of a yellow tint to her skin to give it a little bit of a healthy glow and perhaps a small bit of shine in the eyes would be good. mrgreen If you didn't use the computer and you just used some special markers then I suppose you can't change it too much (but you should always make a copy of your lineart... at least, until you are totally confident with coloring). Anyway, it's not too bad. Although, if you wanted, you could color inside the lines a little bit more. rofl Hahahahahaha.
Good Job; it's a cute picture.

I don't think you should use OpenCanvas for this..

Have you heard about GIMP? It's much easier to use, kind of like Photoshop. Open Canvas is a b***h if you don't know how to use it, because I couldn't understand how to use it! (Strange stuff was happening when I tried)

It's not the best you could have done, because the shading is really messy and it needs to be smoothed out or you should at least put some new outlines on it. ^_^

Note: I hate coloring too Ox
