If so, please tell me it's not painful or scary, cause I go in Tuesday to get mine looked at and possibility fixed (if my allergic reaction from teh antibotics for the infection I got for it wears off. )

Co-worker of mine had it done. He called it having his tear duct roto-rootered. He said it wasn't nearly as bad as the thought it would be. He was back to work the next day, and would have come to work the day of, if he'd wanted to. He decided to take advantage. Good luck. I'd tell you not to worry, but you'll worry anyway.
I never thought I'd meet another person who had that problem!!
I've had the saline solution sprayed in there - as well as the wire shoved in there. Neither was that bad. I'm on my way to surgery, as soon as I can afford it.
