Choose Your Poison

I prefer straight alcohol to mixes. Straight shot of good tequila with no training wheels (no salt or lime), or a tumbler of dark spiced rum on the rocks.

For wine, dry whites, though my FAVES are merlot and cabs. I love the heavier red wines, got it from my grandfather who collects them.

For beer, I am really picky. Lighter color beers, corona, or cider. It hurts me to say I am Irish and I don't like guinness >_<.

For fun drinks, I like Pink P_ssy. shot glass half full of buttershot, you float tequila rose on top using the back of a spoon. It is not meant to be sipped!

And one final note for alcohol, I brew my own meade in small batches. It is really sweet and can't be mixed with anything, but it is also some of the most deceptive alcohol I have come across. My friends try it and immediately think "fruity girl drink", and after two glasses are trying to figure out where their feet are razz

I pretty much always drink bourbon (neat) with a coke back, as well as a pint of water, but I used to love this blended mixed drink called an Oatmeal Cookie. I think it had fire, jager or an anise liquor, a few other things, ice and cream blended together biggrin

I miss being able to have a drink. Haven't had a drink in 8 mos because I'm pregnant and won't be able to have one for a while because I'll be breastfeeding... sweatdrop
I was more of a casual drinker. A wine cooler or a glass of wine usually. If I wanted something stronger, rum and coke or Incredible Hulks pirate = Hypnotik and henessey or red bull and hypnotik. I always did have to be careful about drinking hulks in public if my husband is anywhere near me. Two would give me a decent buzz but the 3rd was like popping a viagra lol.

I know how you feel. Im breastfeeding a 9mo old. *sigh* now whenevr I go out I get to watch everyone drink & get to do all the driveing! sweatdrop Cant wait to tast that sweet poison again.

This time of year I start thinking about Hot Buttered Rum with Meyer's Dark rum or hot chocolately, minty coffee drinks (with alcohol of course) blaugh

beer or whiskey, it depends of my mood neutral but i like some others too...
where i live to drink is something so usual to the guys and the girls, it's almost a drunk's place... sweatdrop

I myself like windsor and coke or rum and coke. I like the crown royal but that stuff is too expensive for me. I also like the butterscotch schapps and irish cream. I think it's called a buttery n****e but i'm not sure. lol I also like wine. Red wine mostly. And I love sex on the beach!

Summer = Gin & Tonic with a lime twist
Winter = Scotch with soda or a splash of water

I have a drinking ritual when I go out.

If its a bar I get a shot of the four horsemen to start my night off. (jack johnny jose and jim)

followed by whatever drinks afterwards and then I'm done! smile

Outside of a bar I typically stick to plum wine, sake, cognac, and sam adams.

green eyed monsters, liquid cocane, killer coolaid. But I don't drink very often so I use these when I want to drink and if they have the deer in the headlights look through the list. I get a coke.
