So, Caitlin announced on her Funimation site that the second half of Ouran would be coming out January 6th, 2009. Along with that awesome calendar she mentioned that I am really excited about. Yey! Although I wish it was out sooner, I feel like this is actually pretty close from now. whee
Soo.. This being said, are you guys excited about it, having seen the first half?? I am acually quite pleased with the entire first half, despite the opening and closing. And I am curious to hear what people think now that there is more to go by. I think that the translation is pretty faithful, although minor differences. Those ones don't seem to bother me that much, but I could see some people being a bit aggrivate about it. Anyway, opinions??

It's actually saddening that I watched it the entire way through and then got bored with it. :l
Not to mention that as time progressed, Hanii's voice and Renge's voice grated on my nerves.
The outtakes were hilarious. Especially the ones with the cursing. xd

It's actually saddening that I watched it the entire way through and then got bored with it. :l
Not to mention that as time progressed, Hanii's voice and Renge's voice grated on my nerves.
The outtakes were hilarious. Especially the ones with the cursing. xd Aw, that is saddening... But I know that there are a lot of people who disagree with me. I enjoyed the dub a lot, but thats me.. With Hunny's voice, I never had any problem with it. I think she did a very good job on it. As for Renge, yes, I do find her voice a bit irritating, but I deal with it because I think that she is supposed to be annoying and thats just part of her character. I was just thankful that her laugh didn't come out to be something like Emerald's laugh from the dub of Sailor Moon.. Lol. Although, it just got to be hysterical and an inside joke between my friends after awhile. xd

Hmmm, Funi has had to speed up production consider many of there competitors have gone bankrupt or sold out, so Funi has been taking up the stick and taken on the dropped contract, but it also makes fans happy so that's a plus! And thanks for the info! I'm so happy!

...I have a thing with calendars.
So, yeah, I am excited about owning the second half. And with the first half, I got my friends addicted too. Now we all can't wait. I'll probably buy it with my birthday money.

Ugh!!! I am so jealous of you guys!! I haven't gotten mine yet. crying gonk I am so saddened by it... Mine just got shipped out early this morning so I'm hoping to get it by tomorrow.. It would be a nice addition to my Thursday. Have either of you watched it yet? Is the second half dubbing good? And the calendar is awesome? Lol. Sorry. I am really excited about the second half for some reason... Maybe it's the most recent chapter...

I just went straight ahead and watched the last episode. It almost made me cry just like the original did. lol. And Eclair is still annoying. lol. It was great though. I think Funimation did a good job with Ouran, despite the opening song.

Finished watching all of it. It was fantastic. I laughed, I cried, I lost ten pounds.
The commentary for episode 18 was hilarious. Hearing Hunny and Chika badmouth each other with British accents was awesome.
