The Silence of the Lambs is definitely pretty chilling.
I'm not sure what the scariest movie is, but I don't think it's that.
It's one of my favorites, though.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose is just a lame rip-off of The Exorcist. Yes, it may be chilling and somewhat entertaining at times, but really, it's just lame.

But, then again, my gramma made me watch horror movies when I was like 5, so I'm pretty desensitized to violence, blood, gore, and artificial thrills.

That being said, the first time I watched, "The Evil Dead," I was 17, and it gave me chills. Granted, I watched it alone and in the dark, with the wind howling outside. sweatdrop

Eh, I don't actually get scared by most horrors unless they have a ghost in them. xD
Especially things to do with Quija boards (Long time dead!).
But I did watch a film called Hide and seek (no, not the one with Dakota Fanning and Robert Deniro) but a one with Darhyl Hannah and Jeniffer Tilly and it was pretty terrifying! I'd defo recommend it.
