Ok now 2 people 2 People tonight were purposefully attacking cherry fluffs to see them attack and kill other players.

The first one was literally, going "lol", and "you got owned", when the other players became dazed.

I just wanted to reach out and smack the living s**t out of the little p***k.
Instead, I reported him. That is just bullshit.

The second wasn't As bad, as least when I asked him to kill fluffs somewhere else he... kinda backed off. Then we just went to a different server. Seriously how badly do you really want to mess up another person's good time to pull some s**t like that.

Sometimes people do that because they know they can get away with it. After all, no one knows who they really are, so why act like they'll get caught? That, or they actually enjoy watching other people's misfortune because it makes them feel superior.

Honestly, I believe you'll find people like that on any MMO, not to mention any other gaming site. Players like that are a personal annoyance of mine too, and it's one of my main gripes against MMOs in general (unless the server uses "canned" pre-selected messages or something like that). It's also why I tend not to talk with other players unless I know them, either IRL or from another site.

Unfortunately, you can't control other players' behavior online or anywhere else. The best thing to do in those situations is to either ignore them, move to another server if you can, or, if they're bothering you personally, report them, like you did.

Unfortunately, some people haven't yet realized that anonymity isn't an excuse to be a jerk(for lack of a more polite word).

I just had one of those little shits kill me. In almost the exact way this thread speaks of today. So I know what you are talking about. When it comes to little shits on Gaming. Unfortunately, I have seen more of them. Than people with five or more years on me. And I can say this with a rather high certainty as well.

Despite the hype and what people will try to tell you. The younger ones are never the worst you can run into. It is the older ones that pull crap like that that are really the worst. These people always have some reason for doing what they are doing. And unfortunately, since they aren't just being a mouthy p***k for no reason like the younger crowd. They really believe that whatever they are doing is justified making them fail far more than the youth at life for having pulled off the same action.

Its not my fault that your that way but that still is no reason to come at other people. They do it since they hide behind a computer. Also all those people that feel all high and mighty here on gaia are the very someones that run away when you come up there face.

ever since gaia opened it to everyone I swear the lag is driving me crazy!its to the point where I can just turn and turn but not move!It is really hard to go a quest if you can't even move.They need to restrict again and fix up the bugs

I knew there was going to be a certain element of asshattery in this game, simply because these games draw them like flies to manure.

Best thing to do is avoid them like the plague. If they start ks'ing you (ks=kill-steal; coming in with their uber powerful character and killing all of the monsters), just leave and change servers if necessary.

yeah, some people really have nothing better to do. They are sad pathetic people.

Personally, I couldn't care less about those who sit and heckle or talk s**t and show how incompetent they are, but don't use the few possible things in the game to ruin it for others.

There is a reason why we can't fight each other, and that's because we're supposed to cooperate to accomplish tasks.

I'm not a mother, but if I was, and my kid was THAT Stupid, I would have to seriously readjust their priorities for them.

I have never been attacked unprovoked by those puffs, ever. I'm not sure how they managed it.
In any case, while it evidently is malicious and not something I would do (without provocation, anyway) I have been known to run from drums, even if that meant leading an army of drums into other people...Unfortunately, I find that they keep on my trail, or just go back to where they were. Again, I don't understand how the puffs act differently. Attacking someone unprovoked while their assailiant is not dazed is not behavior I have ever witnessed.
In any case, no matter what the truth of these accounts are, this thread has kind of degraded into whining about people simply standing idly by and not helping. Seriously? Yes, if I am powerful enough to do so without serious risk to myself I will generally try to help someone out with a monster, but not because I feel obliged to. I just do it out of courtesy and a desire for orbs. Of course I appreciate being helped, but I wouldn't complain about some stranger's failure to help me. Really...Though I am loathe to be rude, I feel that a "Get over yourself," may be in order, supplemented with an off-handed "It's just a game."
