Anubis is the god of mumification, and assistes in the judgement of souls being admitted into the underworld.
In my storyline, Anubis is still a young god and is learning from his mother, Nephthys. Therefore he has yet to reach is true form of a god (a man with a jackal head) He can still represent his power in such a form though, normally only when he is really angry.
He plays a part as more of his mothers minion then anything else. Still very young he is immature and makes poor choices throughout the story.
