Easter day is coming what plans this year?

Happy Valentine's Day here too.

Our plans is to go over to our friends house and cook something together. To me V-day isn't mainly romantic but day to remember and thank friends for being there. It is hard to say for most people - not being expected. Holidays are good chance to tell that you care your friends without fear of sounding melodramatic. This is funny, I know. It's a culture thing too. Finns don't speak or kiss. mrgreen

I plan to treat it like another day. I believe that I can just as easily tell someone that I love them on any other day without going crazy on the commercialism of one day in a year. It is weird thinking about having a partner who does buy into valentines day (it meant something to my ex, so not celebrating it made me feel bad).

I don't completely understand when people say that. I am sure it has become a commercialism holiday, but for the most part it's a wonderful day. I LOVE that people all around the world on the same night are expressing their love for each other. Can you imagine how many people are going to be making love at the same time?? I don't know if I'm just a dork or what, but that is such a sweet thing to me. Valentines day I think should just be to celebrate love in the first place. We have so many days where people are just negative and hateful. Why not have a day to say hey love is important, and you know what? I love you!!

I didn't even consider the concept of an international day for love making. It sounds interesting.
