i think the nose needs a bit of work, its a bit messy. Perhaps her eyes are too far apart? Nice work Oo

If you want me to do redlines, I will...but I feel like it would be a bit overwhelming. @__@;
So, here's my advice. The neck is too straight, it needs to have some curving, especially near the base of the neck. The nose if alright, but maybe you could turn down the tip of the nose a bit so it shows less of the underside. The eyes indeed are too far apart and a bit high up. Basically...push them about 5 pixels down and 5 toward the center. XD Heh, I have the same problem allllll the time with eyes.
Otherwise you do have a good start, you seem to be able to spot problems pretty well on your own. :3

the straightness of the neck doesn't bother me so much as the straight horizontal shoulders. remember the muscles in the neck and shoulders, and the collar bone wink also, even if you were to fix the hight of the eyes I feel like her forehead is almost nonexistent. Personally I would reduce the vertical space taken up by all of her features (especially the nose and eyes)
honestly though these are pretty nit picky things, it looks great, you definitely have experience and talent.

Thank you all so much for the C&C. I'll put them to mind my next attempt!
@Twilight I would like for you to, but if it's too much trouble I won't mind you refusing :]
And thank you for the insights. I think I'll start using references instead. Anyways, what's better than using real people for realism >u< [or semi-realism]
@Kerri Ahaha, I could never forget the collar bone. It's about the funnest to draw mrgreen But I'll remember the neck muscles. They are more prominent in men, I'm assuming.
And thank you for the suggestion! I'll try to make things less longitudinal next time, haha x'D
Also, thank you for the compliment <3
@Doom Thank you for confirming :] Yes, I think I'll use nose references next time. Or look at a tutorial.
Again, thank you all very much for all the C&C. I highly appreciate it ~

yeah talk about big changes smile well It's really good what I'd suggest doing is probably looking at the overall roundness of the head.
like don't you think the hair area looks a bit flat. Draw a circle on the face, doesn't the hair seem a bit flat?
Anyhoo, lastly is the left eye. I think the upper eyelid dips in too low to the middle in comparison to the one on the right... it looks like he is looking more closer to the side rather than a 3/4th view. I hope that makes sense.

@Blackrose I don't think I know what you mean by roundness. I don't think the hair is flat, it looks round. It might be her forehead, though. If her forehead is too close then it might have made the hair look flatter. So, I think I should scoot her features down a bit :]
Ahh, I agree about the eyes. I don't quite understand what you mean, but the eye on the left is funny. It looks very 2-d, because of the steep slant. Actually, I think I know what you're talking about now. Her left, right? If so, should I make the center higher? or just make the other lower?
Thank you for the suggestions <3

Ah! I think I know what you mean by flat hair now. Perhaps it would seem more volumized if I drew a few strands coming from her crown (the part where hair parts downwards), like, in rainbow-arcs? Well, not exactly rainbow arcs, but along that image.

Okay~ Redlined this one. @_@ So yup, the mouth was small. The minimum size should be that the corners of the mouth line up with the inner corners of the eyes. The eyes, unless slanted, should have all of the points line up on a straight line. Simple as that. :] I moved the eyes down, and the ear with them. Once again, something you spotted on your own. XD The eyes should be positioned about center in the height of the head. Oh, and much better on the nose this time! And one thing I couldn't really redline. I erased a bit of the line of her jaw. Not at all necessary especially for forward views of the head. Just remember that the change from the head to the neck is smooth and not sudden. I don't think I quite get what Blackrose is saying about the hair. It seems fine for the style you chose. o.o Feel free to disagree with me. xd I think the eyes are still a bit off in my redlines.

Ahh, thank you so much <3
Eeek, I should've remembered those measurement things ^^;; And thanks, I think I see what's weird with the forehead-face thing now. Ahaha. Oh, I also see the awkwardness in the neck now 0___0
And thank, I'm glad the nose looks better!
Thank you for always critiquing <3 Man, I wish I had something more than "thank you" to say all the time >__> It gets repetitive.

The third one looks a bit generic and Barbie-like. Haaaa.
Also, is the neck a little too thin?
( I might be straying from semi-realism now >___> )
On the bright side, I'm improving 8D

Oh gosh, I don't have enough critiques to make redlining worth it. xD
You're still positioning the eyes a bit far up on the head. But honestly? I think that's fine. Semi-realism after all. When you're not working with tons of detail, messing with facial proportions a bit is a good way to give a bit of difference between characters. And you're working well within the realm of believability.
I think the "sleepy eye" effect seems to happen because you're showing more iris in one eye than the other.
You're improving quickly. ^^
