I believe it is the mother's choice, not anyone else's. Please don't rant or flame. This is a very touchy subject, I know, but it was bound to appear here sooner or later.

Your view, why, anything else?

Haha, I figured this'd come up.

I still don't know what I think about abortion. It's touchy...if it was me,
I'd NEVER get one. I love kids, I'm really maternal already at 14, and
I think that as long as it's partly formed in you, it should have a fair
chance at life. Moms shouldn't get abortions just because they don't
wanna tell their parents, that's selfish. If there's a good reason, like
the baby would have a bad life because the mom is poor as hell or some
other thing, it might be a good thing. But I think the natural process of
pregnancy shouldn't be tampered with. I hate new technology.

It kindof isn't right...
if you screw yourself over
and give in too early, get urself
pregnant...you should have to deal
with the repercussions. Give if up for
adoption if you must, but abortion is just
the easy way out.
If you get raped...it's probably a good option
for someone who doesn't want it...because it's
not their fault...but the kid should still have a change.
I'm too baby-loving to be fair about this =/ lol

I would have to say that I believe that it is the mothers choice. I don't really think that it is right for us to make the choice for them. Each situation is different and each mother has their reason for getting the abortion. Everyone that I have talked to that has had an abortion, they said that it isn't an easy choice.
And I think that the mother knows that she isn't going to be able to provide for the child, then I can see why they would have it done. I don't think that having to live in the adoption system is the best thing for a child.
But if we do keep it open for the mother to choose, then I think that there should be rules put into place, like only being able to do it a certain amount of times... It is just wrong when a woman uses it as birth control....

Yeah. Of course it should be the mother's choice, but some people
can't make the right decision. There's a lot of reasons to and not to,
as long as it's a good one...and they aren't over a few weeks pregnant.

*sigh...* Teen mothers comes into my mind...but then, there are some who chose to abort and regret later...such a shame...Well, I'm a catholic, but then, as a non-biased person, It's really a mother's choice...

I think it is just wrong! I love the sayings "Be happy, Your mother chose life" and "A person's a person, no matter how small". Why kill an innocent, unborn, child?! that is just wrong! i once saw a video about abortion, and i found out that only 1% of abortions are due to rape or health problems, and i think those are the only 2 reasons to get abortions. There other options, like adoption.

I also think abortion is flat-out wrong! Babies, even unborn ones, are living people. They deserve a chance too! There are a lot of consequences that go a long with having an abortion, physically and emotionally. i think this video says it all! and this girl is only 12 years old!!

The definition of an abortion: An abortion can occur spontaneously due to complications during pregnancy or can be induced, in humans and other species.
It IS natural, females have natural accruing abortions all the time.

I honestly would get an abortion in a second if I got pregnant, although preventative measures are obviously important so that I never have to. I can't care so much about the whole killing a "poor innocent child!" bit. Poor innocent things die all the time, and yes it breaks my heart, but in this case, I have to be a survivalist. At this point, I am not ready to raise a child, and it would ruin my life. Having a child anytime soon would the most dreadful thing to me, and I won't ruin my own life just so I can be a bad mother and raise a child in poverty.
