So what if I'm six months late to this. 8| The game's really ******** fun.
I've never played a DMC game before so I wasn't sure what to expect aside from gameplay similar to the demo - which I loooved - so yeah. Good times were had; the combos are so fun to pull off.
I'm only like.. three missions into the game but omg. gonk heart
Plus Nero sounds like Leon Kennedy from RE4 and sorta looks like him too but with white hair. So I had many a laugh.
THOUGHTS N' THINGS?
I got two achievements already lolol. Collection 10k orbs and kill 100 enemies. Go me!

Map your gun to a R1 so you can charge and attack at the same time, it makes it MUCH easier.
Don't forget that if you hit the sword rev button at the same time as an attack, it charges up your sword FULLY and you can unleash a flaming attack that's twice as powerful.
Congrats I just made the game 400% improvement!

I dunno. I think it was weird that they basically had this weird religion thing and the main character was a freeriding (read as: runs on walls, rails, etc.) scene-punker with a sword that has a napalm-launching engine jack'd onto it, glowing demon hand, and he played like all kinds of a**. Then you get Dante, and everything's ok again.
So yeah, Nero is to suck; Dante is to win. My opinion, anyway.

Swft I don't really understand your group (anti-nero) point of view. Nero was so similar to personality with Dante that it just felt like playing like Dante without all the need for style switching, and with a bad a** hand and being able to stay in the air forever doing combos.
Also ******** Blitzes and their shield.

It charges the gun for you but you also don't get to do about half the combos, it's really not worth it.

Huh. Well. I don't have most of the combos yet, still beating the storyline on Human. It automatically used that L-trigger stuff for me which was nice.
I'll keep that in mind, though.

Edge Zero Swft I don't really understand your group (anti-nero) point of view. Nero was so similar to personality with Dante that it just felt like playing like Dante without all the need for style switching, and with a bad a** hand and being able to stay in the air forever doing combos. Also ******** Blitzes and their shield. I think it all broke down to the fact that I don't want to have to charge fifty things at a time to do his "ultimate" combos when I can charge 2-3 on Dante and be done with it.

I just like the counter attack animations you get as Nero when you use your Devil Bringer. Plus you can do Zangeif's Final Atomic Buster as Nero.

I just like the Snatch attack Nero has where you can keep your combos going seamlessly; Dante's kinda sluggish if he's gotta run to each enemy. :c
Also wtf there's sooo many options. Four styles and so far, two guns, two separate melee weapons. Wtf man.
