Velissia is a very hard-headed and stubborn girl. She only fights for what she wants and for what she believes in. She is often shaky about choosing sides, and doesn't trust anyone besides her digimon anymore. She is extremely loyal, and it often takes quite a long time for her to trust someone. Until she respects and trusts someone, she will only cause them problems, and perform as much mischief as she possibly can. She laughs at others whenever they are in pain, and doesn't tend to show any weak sides at any times. She is crazy and psychotic, and doesn't care much for others. Only if she is willing to let them in her life, which isn't very often. She is also very bright, and can at times be calm. She is rash and quick to jump into a fight.

Velissia didn't have much as a child. It was only her parents, and her and her brother. She lived in a poor family, with both her parents being pretty abusive. Her father was a regular drunk at a town bar, often getting slap happy drunk and returning home just to attack the first person he saw, either his wife or Velissia or her brother. Velissia hated this life. She loathed her mother and her father, and all out couldn't stand them. She begged to get away, and whenever she couldn't, she would often loath the world and blame her problems on others. She didn't tend to show aggression back then. Knowing that her and her brother would be the only two that could support each other in the family. Her brother promised to take her with him whenever he grew old enough to move out. But, this promise didn't seem to last. One night, amongst a large fight between her mother and her father. Velissia's brother snuck out with a large bag full of his things. Velissia caught him leaving, and he told her that he would come back for her, after which he left. Days, months, and years passed. Her brother never came home, and the beatings only became worse and worse. Velissia lost her trust in humans. On her fourteenth birthday was when the beatings finally stopped. Her father had lost it one night. Having come home drunker than usual. He took a gun to his wife, and shot her. Then pulled it on himself and committed suicide. Velissia found them both dead, and with no support. She herself was starting to lose her sanity. She was sent to an orphanage, after everything with the police had been settled. At the orphanage, she didn't connect with any of the children, this is where she began to grow aggressive. She'd often start fights, and make everyone leave her alone whenever they wanted to talk. She hated just about everyone, and started causing mischief.
